Body motion signals indicate several pathological features of the human body, and a wearable human motion monitoring system can respond to human joint motion signal in real time, thereby enabling the prevention and treatment of some diseases. Because conductive fabrics can be well integrated with the garment, they are ideal as a sensing element of wearable human motion monitoring systems. This study prepared polypyrrole conductive fabric by in situ polymerization, and the anisotropic property of the conductive fabric resistance, resistance–strain relationship, and the relationship between resistance and the human knee and elbow movements are discussed preliminarily.

The aim of this work was to develop a textile fabric with electrical conductivity. This fabric was made from cotton yarns coated with a solution based on carbon black. This paper reports the results of preparing different recipes using a number of quantities of carbon black particles and other components of the coating mixture, which were tested in order to obtain the best results regarding electrical conductivity. The optimal concentration of conductive particles of carbon black was studied.

Wyprodukowano tkaniny o dobrej przewodności elektrycznej, z włókien bawełnianych o splocie płóciennym, pokrytych roztworem zawierającym cząsteczki sadzy. Przedstawiono wyniki przewodności elektrycznej uzyskane przy stosowaniu roztworów o rożnym składzie i rożnym stężeniu cząstek sadzy. Określono optymalny skład i stężenie cząstek sadzy dla uzyskania praktycznych wyników.
