Strength analysis for cycloidal gears with the new concept of power transmissions

The article presents a new design solution of hydraulic gerotor machines. The main attention was paid to the analysis of strain behaviour of a cycloidal gear set. The gears are the main assemblies of hydraulic gerotor machines, which are powered by driving the gear set. In the state of the art, the rotational motion of the gear set was effected by driving the inner gear. This article proposes a modified method of power transmission in which the outer gear is now a driving gear. Such a solution also results in modifications to the hydraulic machine design. This have led to a concept of a new hydraulic gerotor machine, which differs from the traditional designs. The device according to the new design is capable of carrying substantially higher loads than devices of the previous designs.

This article introduces a new approach to the digital prototyping of factories. The problem we are describing here refers to a complex and lengthy decision-making process regarding the construction of a new factory or production. This specific area of research has been developed through many years, which is pointed in the first part of article. The solution we have offered brings a new methodology to the prototyping of factories. This solution helps to shorten the whole process of designing, building, operating and optimizing the production business. The most remarkable result of methodology application is digital configurator of factories. This configurator serves as a tool for designing and comprehensive investment assessment of the planned factories. In our view, these results represent an initial step towards managing the whole process of building a new factory, which will minimize both time and resource requirements.

In this article real results of international conceptual designing based on educational seminars between the Institute of architecture of Lviv National Pol ytechnic University and the faculty of architecture from Dresden Technical University that can stimulate a development of modern architectural typology in historical cities of Europe are observed.
