This paper aims to describe and properly select graphics software used in the offset printing house operation as well as classify it depending on a created graphical design. The paper describes graphics software used in the offset printing house operation. The first mentioned example is CorelDraw Graphics Suite designed for graphics. The next ones are the following: Adobe Photoshop usually used in computer retouching. LigthWave as 3D and special effects software and Adobe InDesignused for publishing. All the said software, packages include a detailed description of their basic features that are useful in the printing house work and comparison in terms of performed actions.
