The geoinformation software market is becoming increasingly competitive. New improvements and tools are created, which are provided to the users with subsequent updates. Additionally, completely new software is appearing as well. Nevertheless, for the past several years, ArcGIS and QGIS have been the most popular software in Poland. There are many handbooks and manuals describing their possibilities. Both systems offer numerous functions. This does not mean, however, that the results of identical spatial analyses performed in ArcGIS and QGIS will be identical as well. The comparison of the results of such analyses performed on vector and raster data is the main objective of the conducted study. The research demonstrates, that selected analogical tools implemented in discussed systems provides different results especially in the range of spatial analyses performed on raster data.

Wykonanie dobrej protezy jest uzależnione od dobrego materiału podstawowego. Współczesna protetyka stomatologiczna dysponuje szeroką gamą materiałów, które mogą być wykorzystane w rehabilitacji układu stomatognatycznego. Każdy materiał, który będzie miał kontakt ze środowiskiem jamy ustnej, musi być poddany serii badań biologicznych, chemicznych i fizycznych, aby wykluczyć jego szkodliwe działanie na organizm. Duża obecnie różnorodność tworzyw akrylowych skłoniła autorkę do podjęcia próby oceny najczęściej stosowanych w Zakładzie Protetyki Stomatologicznej PAM mas akrylowych. Ocena ta będzie pozwalała na wybranie tworzywa o najlepszych właściwościach fizyko-chemicznych.

The preparation of a good prosthetic denture depends on the use of a good base material. Present-day prosthetic dentistry has at its disposal a wide range of materials, which can be used in the rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system. Every material that will be in contact with the environment of the oral cavity must undergo a series of biological, chemical and physical tests, to exclude its damaging effect to the organism. A wide variety of acrylic materials actually accessible inclined the author to undertake an assessment of acrylic resin materials most often used in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry of the Pomeranian Medical Academy. This assessment will allow selecting the material, which has the best physical and chemical properties.

The results of comparison testing carried out at „Jożef Stefan" Institute and Tele- and Radio Research Institute for no-clean fluxes TN/4A and C1/C have been presented. These fluxes developed at the Tele- and Radio Research Institute for PCB's soldering were investigated at JSI for hybrid circuits soldering. The results of corrosivity investigation : copper corrosion test, copper mirror test, ionic contamination on substrate as well as short and long term investigation of surface insulation resistance have been presented.

Przedstawiono porównawcze badania topników typu no-clean: TN/4A i C1/C wykonane w „Joźef Stefan" Institute, Ljubljana i Instytucie Tele- i Radiotechnicznym. Opracowane w ITR topniki do lutowania płytek drukowanych były przebadane w „Joźef Stefan" Institute pod kątem zastosowania do lutowania układów hybrydowych. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań korozyjności topników metodami: korozji na miedzi, lustra miedzi, zanieczyszczeń jonowych i rezystancji powierzchniowej izolacji.
