Zweryfikowano i porównano skuteczność wybranych metod DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) w rozpoznawaniu podstawowych typów defektów (wyładowania niezupełne, wyładowania, defekt cieplny). W tym celu przeprowadzono obliczenia na podstawie pomiarów gazów rozpuszczonych w oleju pochodzących z transformatorów o znanym rodzaju uszkodzenia. Zdefiniowano i obliczono prosty wskaźnik służący do celów porównawczych. Podano możliwości jego praktycznego zastosowania w procesie diagnostycznym.

Analysis of gases dissolved in oil is widely used in the diagnosis of transformers with oil-paper insulation. Detection of a fault requires knowledge of typical values of gas concentrations which are specific for particular group of transformers. In Poland the values were determined by Energopomiar [1]. To identify the nature of the defect, there can be used a number of universal methods. The effectiveness of selected DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis)methods in the diagnosis of basic types of faults (partial discharges, discharges, thermal defect) was verified and compared. For this purpose, the calculations based on measurements of the gases dissolved in the oil of transformers with a known type of faults were carried out. A simple factor for com-parative purposes was also defined and calculated. The possibility of its practical application to the diagnostic process was presented. The analyzes performed show, among others, that none of the methods is able to detect the correct faults in all cases of provided data. The number of erroneous diagnoses depend on the actual type of the fault and is the largest for PD. Carrying out calculations with simultaneous use of several methods eliminates, to a large extent, the possibility of making a mistake or lack of diagnosis.
