Artykuł przedstawia problemy komunikacyjne występujące we współczesnych aglomeracjach. Jego podstawę stanowi analiza ciągłości traktów śródmiejskich w Poznaniu. Sprawdzano, w jakim zakresie miasto realizuje potrzeby pieszych i kierowców. Wskazano problemy wynikające z przyznawania pierwszeństwa jednej formie ruchu ponad innymi. Okazuje się, że badane węzły komunikacyjne pomimo zlokalizowania w śródmieściu nie spełniają tradycyjnych dla śródmieść funkcji.

The article deals with communication problems occurring in contemporary agglomerations. Its basis is the analysis of the continuity of downtown routes in Poznań. It compares the extent to which the city meets the needs of pedestrians and drivers and points to the problems resulting from prioritizing one form of traffic over another. It turns out that the examined transport hubs, despite their location, fulfill the traditional functions of downtowns.

The environmental pollution with copper and zinc along the communication routes in Wrocław, Poland

Copper and zinc concentrations in soils and grasses near selected communication routes in Wrocław, Poland have been determined. Environmental samples were collected from the surface layer of the soil profile within 3 m from the edge of the road. The analysis of metals in the mineralizates has been carried out by atomic absorptive spectroscopy (AAS). The conductivity and pH of the soil solutions were measured to evaluate the salinity of the soils and also their active and exchangeable acidity. There have been determined the parameters characterizing the content of metals in soils and grasses, the index of the enrichment of soils in zinc and copper (Wn), the bioaccumulation coefficient (WB), histograms of the frequency of metals occurrence in environmental samples. Also it was presented the Pearson’s r correlation coefficients for the relationships: Zn in soil/Cu in soil, Zn in grass/Cu in grass, Cu in grass/Cu in soil, Zn in grass/Zn in soil. The research does not indicate exceeding of the permissible content of copper and zinc in the environment. However, in all samples higher content of the metals compared to the geochemical background have been observed.

W artykule przedstawiono przegląd strimerów sejsmicznych wykorzystywanych w badaniach sejsmiki inżynierskiej. Znajdują one zastosowanie przede wszystkim w badaniach podłoża gruntowego szlaków komunikacyjnych. Pomiary takimi urządzeniami można również wykonywać w innych celach badawczych, lecz w warunkach terenowych o płaskim lub słabo zmiennym ukształtowaniu. Obecnie strimery sejsmiczne używane są w warunkach, gdzie długość i liczba profili pomiarowych zmuszają do wielokrotnego rozstawiania i składania sprzętu sejsmicznego. Autorzy definiują pojęcie strimera sejsmicznego. Opracowano klasyfikacje ze względu na rodzaje konstrukcji i sposoby mocowania czujników w strimerach. Scharakteryzowano i zilustrowano zasadę działania oraz opisano obecne stadium i kierunek rozwoju technologii strimerów. Przedstawione zostały możliwe konfiguracje strimerów sejsmicznych wraz z pojazdami ciągnącymi i źródłami sejsmicznymi wykorzystywanymi w pomiarach. Zaprezentowano przykłady strimerów sejsmicznych stosowanych w sejsmice inżynierskiej, ze szczegółowymi ich opisami. Dokonano porównania konstrukcji wybranych strimerów sejsmicznych.

This paper presents a detailed overview of land streamers used in seismic engineering. They are commonly implemented in ground reconnaissance along communication routes. Other surveys can be also carried out with this systems, nevertheless field condition should be flat or moderately unchangeable. Nowadays land streamers are used when length and number of seismic profiles force us to make several changes in classical system set-up. Authors defined the term of land streamer. Classification is made due to construction and sensor handle. Characterization and illustration of land streamer principle of operation has been presented. Current direction of technical development was described. The authors presented possible configurations with different towing vehicles and seismic sources. Exemplary land streamers used in industry has been presented with a detailed description. Constructions of selected land streamers have been compered.

Dynamiczny rozwój infrastruktury drogowej w ostatnich kilku latach zwraca uwagę na konieczność badań relacji pomiędzy szlakiem komunikacyjnym a otoczeniem. Współczesne technologie budowy dróg i zasób wiedzy architektów krajobrazu pozwalają na łączenie wymagań komunikacyjnych z potrzebami ochrony przyrody, kultury i walorów wizualnych. Przeprowadzone badania ankietowe wśród 200 mieszkańców gmin Gorzyce, Godów, Mszana i Świerklany dostarczają informacji na temat percepcji krajobrazu, który w wyniku budowy autostrady A1 podlega zmianom. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja czynników zmian krajobrazu i ocena wkomponowania drogi w otoczenie.

The dynamic development of the road infrastructure in the last few years draws attention to the necessity for studying the relationship between communication routes and their surroundings. Present technologies of the road infrastructure and the knowledge of the landscape architects help in connecting the demands for communication routes with the conservation of nature, culture and visual needs. A survey conducted among 200 residents of Godów, Gorzyce, Mszana and Świerklany commons provides information about their perception of landscape, which has undergone changes due to the development of A1 highway. The aim of this study is to identify the factors involved in the landscape changes and the evaluation of incorporating the road into the surrounding environment.

Kraków w ostatnich latach stał się miejscem budowy wielkich przedsięwzięć drogowych, których projekty sięgają lat 70. i 80. Znikły wokół przebudowanego Dworca Głównego obiekty nieprzynoszące chluby miastu, a w ich miejsce powstało Krakowskie Centrum Komunikacyjne z tunelami podziemnymi dla ruchu kołowego i szynowego. Polityka inwestycyjna miasta zmierza do radykalnej poprawy sytuacji drogowej poprzez realizację nowych tras komunikacyjnych i przebudowę istniejących układów komunikacyjnych włącznie z budową tuneli. Elementem poprawiającym miejską sieć drogową są budowane przejścia oraz parkingi podziemne. Realizowane inwestycje poprawią stan powietrza atmosferycznego oraz klimat akustyczny w ciągu głównych ulic Krakowa.

Kraków in the last few years became the place of building great traffic undertakings, which were started to plan even in 1970s and 1980s. Structures, which did not bring the glory to the city, around Central Station in Kraków, disappeared, and in their place came into being Kraków's Communication Center with tunnels for vehicular and rail traffic. Investment policy of the City aims to radical improvement of traffic in the city, through constructing new routes, reconstructing existing communication systems including building tunnels. The elements which should improve the city road network are underground passages and car parks currently under construction. Those investments will improve the state of air as well as acoustic situation in the run of main streets of Kraków city.
