The paper describes a methodology of determining the toxicity sources, using bioassay based on the wildlife objects that change their colorimetric parameters under the influence of toxic factors. The work explores the dynamism of the colorimetric attributes associated with plant pigments. It can be determined by computer processing of the data obtained from digital remote sensing of the lands affected by toxic pollution by means of such relatively low-cost and straightforward methods as digital photography from an aircraft or a drone. The results obtained do not allow direct measurements but rather serve as a basis for the development and characterization of new biomarkers.

W artykule przedstawiono metodykę wyznaczania barw farb akrylowych na podstawie znanych wartości procentowych stosowanych do ich utworzenia pigmentów. Wykazano że dla farb, w których stosowany jest jeden rodzaj pigmentu barwiącego, można, ze znajomości parametrów barwy wyrażonej w jednostkach systemu L*a*b, wyznaczyć udział procentowy stosowanego pigmentu. Wykazaliśmy również, że system L*a*b jest szczególnie przydatny do oceny różnic odwzorowań barw uzyskanych ze zdjęć fotograficznych oraz z wydruków.

In this paper we presented the methodology of color determination of the acrylic paint basing on the known values of amount pigments used to color creation. In the work we present possibility of pigment amount determination for paints in whose one type of dye is used from the knowledge of color parameters expressed in units of L*a*b system. Also we show the system L*a*b is particularly useful to evaluate the differences of color maps derived from photographs and prints.

Metal halide lamps are light sources undergoing considerable development. They combine the advantages of high luminous efficacy and good colour rendering. At present it is possible to use metal halide lamps as direct substitutes of high pressure sodium lamps. Lamps of a selected type were subject to laboratory tests at the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. The tests were aimed at checking the actual colorimetric and photometric parameters of lamps.
