Rozwój urządzeń dla przemysłu chemicznego determinuje wykorzystanie konstrukcji mechatronicznych będących zespoleniem napędów mechanicznych zc sterowaniem elektronicznym lub elektrycznym. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane cechy funkcjonalne nierównobieżnych przekładni cięgnowych powstałych przez połączenie niekołowych elementów zębatych pasem zębatym. Podano ideę zastosowania przekładni nierównobieżnych w budowie urządzeń dla przemysłu chemicznego.

Development of chemical industry devices determines the utilization of me-chatronics constructions being a set of mechanical drives and electronic or electrical control instruments. Selected functional features of uneven-running string transmissions based on coupling between non-circular gears and cogbelt is presented. Application of uneven-running transmissions in construction of chemical industry devices is shown.

In the paper there was presented the attempt of description of shape-frictional contact in uneven-running cogbelt transmission. There were given the principles of engagement and shape-frictional contact occurring in this non-classical transmission. There was experimentally determined relationship of strain in stress function. There were defined directions of further works connected with creating mathematical model and FEM analysis.

The paper presents development of variable speed belt transmission systems. Methodology of experimental research in non-classical belt transmission systems with cog belts is presented. Diagrams and a view of a test stand for experimental research on variable speed transmission systems designed and made by the authors are included. Sample results of experimental research show basic kinematic and dynamic characteristics of such drives.
