A reliability-operational analysis of a track-side CCTV cabinet taking into account interference

The paper presents issues associated with the impact of electromagnetic interference on track-side cabinets of a closed-circuit television system (CCTV) functioning in a railway transport environment. The measurements of an electromagnetic field emitted by a track-side CCTV cabinet were presented. Designs of this kind are operated in railway facilities; therefore, they should not disturb the functioning of other equipment, the rail traffic control systems, in particular (so-called inner compatibility). An analysis of the obtained results enabled developing a research model, and a further reliability and operational analysis, taking into account electromagnetic interference. This enabled determining a relationship allowing the determination of the probability of a track-side CCTV cabinet staying in a state of full ability. The presented discussions regarding a track-side CCTV cabinet, taking into account electromagnetic interference, allow for the numerical assessment of different types of solutions (technical and organizational), which can be implemented in order to mitigate the impact of electromagnetic interference on a system’s functioning.

Reliability analysis of the power supply system of closed-circuit television system used at a highway toll collection point

The article presents issues concerning the power supply systems of closed-circuit television systems used at a highway toll collection point. The general diagram of the power supply system was presented, and then the reliability analysis was conducted. This enabled to develop a relationships graph, on the basis of which the Chapman–Kolmogorov system of equations describing it was created. On this basis, it was possible to set the relationships allowing to calculate the probability values of the system’s staying (in symbolic terms) in the following functional states: of full ability SPZ, of non-full ability SZB1 and SZB2, and of unfitness SB.

W artykule zaprezentowano zagadnienia dotyczące układów zasilania systemów monitoringu wizyjnego zastosowanych w autostradowym punkcie poboru opłat. Przedstawiono ogólny schemat układu zasilania, zaś następnie przeprowadzono analizę niezawodnościową. Umożliwiło to opracowanie grafu relacji, na podstawie którego utworzono układ równań KołmogorowaChapmana opisujący go. Na tej podstawie możliwe było wyznaczenie zależności pozwalających na obliczenie wartości prawdopodobieństw przebywania systemu (w ujęciu symbolicznym) w stanach funkcjonalnych: pełnej zdatności SPZ, niepełnej zdatności SNZ1 i SNZ2 oraz niezdatności SN.

Systemy telewizji dozorowej (CCTV) są powszechnie stosowane w ochronie obiektów logistycznych. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono dwa główne rozwiązania telewizji dozorowej wynikające głównie z rodzaju stosowanych systemów kamer: analogowych lub cyfrowych kamer IP. Omówiono możliwości rejestratorów stosowanych w tych dwóch rozwiązaniach telewizji dozorowej. Wspólną cechą nowoczesnych, wielokanałowych rejestratorów jest współbieżny przebieg procesów podglądu w czasie rzeczywistym, nagrywania, odtwarzania, archiwizacji i dostępu zdalnego. Możliwość jednoczesnego zobrazowania rejestrowanych informacji w dwóch kanałach, o różnej rozdzielczości, pozwala ponadto na optymalne wykorzystanie przepustowości kanałów transmisyjnych używanych do archiwizacji na nośnikach komputerowych i do przekazu informacji siecią rozległą WAN. W artykule przeanalizowano rozwiązania stosowane w telewizji dozorowej do zminimalizowania ograniczeń w transmisji dwukierunkowej wynikających z aktualnej dominacji adresów dynamicznych IP w sieci Internet.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems are widely used in the protection of logistics facilities. This article presents two major CCTV solutions mainly due to the kind used camera system: analog or digital cameras. Discussed the possibility of recorders used in these two CCTV solutions. A common feature of modern, multi-channel recorders are concurrent processes real-time viewing, recording, playback, archiving and remote access. The ability to simultaneously display information recorded on two channels, with different resolution also allows for optimal use of bandwidth transmission channels used for archiving on computer media and Internet information transfer by WAN. The article analyzed the practices used in CCTV to minimize restrictions in full duplex arising from current dynamic IP addresses of dominance on the Internet.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z systemami monitoringu wizyjnego zastosowanymi jako systemy telematyki transportu zwiększające poziom bezpieczeństwa na przejazdach kolejowych. Podano ich strukturę ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zastosowania sieci informatycznych do przesyłu informacji. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na kwestie związane z eksploatacją tych systemów.

This paper presents the issues related to Closed Circuit Television systems applied as transport telematics systems improve safety at railroad crossings. There is presented their structure with particular emphasis on the use of computer networks to transmit information. Special attention was paid to issues related to the exploitation of these systems.
