The present study deals with a mathematical model of the influence of the air jet on the thread segment that is treated as a cylinder of known diameter and length. The flow superposition method and the projection method of the area being flown around have been considered to determine the draft force of the thread positioned obliquely with respect to the homogeneous air jet. The obtained results have been compared with the measurement results obtained experimentally.

Praca dotyczy matematycznego modelowania oddziaływania strugi powietrza na odcinek nitki, traktowany jako walec o znanej średnicy i długości. Rozpatrzono metodę superpozycji przepływów i metodę rzutów opływanej powierzchni do wyznaczenia siły ciągu nitki, ustawionej ukośnie w stosunku do jednorodnej strugi powietrza. Uzyskane wyniki porównano z pomiarami otrzymanymi na drodze eksperymentalnej.
