The results of steam desorption of an activated carbon fixed bed, after the adsorption chlorohydrocarbons from aqueous solution was presented. The characteristics of 1,2-dichloroethane, tetrachloromethane and 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane desorption in the temperature range 373 - 413K were determined. The increase of temperature from 373K to 413K improves the efficiency of the process. The improvement of the steam consumption indicator has not been observed in the temperature over 413K. During the desorption of 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane partial dehydrochlorination to trichloroethylene follows.
