The article presents the laboratory tests – based assessment of the condition of concrete elements in the indoor swimming pool. The test were performed on samples extracted from the swimming pool floor. The results from the tests for physical and chemical properties of the concrete as well as for the chloride content in the samples allowed that moisture content varied from layer to layer. This facilitates the movement of water and chloride penetration. The amount of chlorides in the layer located below 80 mm depth exceeds the threshold value 0.4%, which may initiate corrosion of the reinforcement steel.
