W artykule przedstawiono interpretację wzbudzających dyskusje zapisów normy PN-EN ISO 9712:2022-09 w zakresie wymagań formalnych stawianych certyfikacji w sektorach przemysłowych. Analizie poddano zapisy definiujące sektor, sektor wyrobu i sektor przemysłowy oraz wymagania związane z ich tworzeniem. Autor stawia tezę o daleko idącej spójności wymagań PN-EN ISO 9712:2022 w porównaniu z poprzednim wydaniem normy PN-EN ISO 9712:2012 w zakresie wymagań dla praktycznej części egzaminu dla sektorów przemysłowych. Zdaniem autora, wbrew niektórym interpretacjom, norma nie zaostrzyła wymagań dotyczących liczby próbek wymaganej podczas egzaminowania, a nawet je nieznacznie zliberalizowała.

The article presents an interpretation of the controversial provisions of the PN-EN ISO 9712:2022-09 standard regarding formal requirements for certification in industrial sectors. The provisions defining the sector, product sector and industrial sector as well as the requirements related to their creation has been analysed. Author puts forward a thesis about the far-reaching consistency of the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9712:2022 compared to the previous edition of the PN-EN ISO 9712:2012 standard in terms of requirements for the practical part of the exam for industrial sectors. According to the author, contrary to some interpretations, the standard did not tighten the requirements regarding the number of samples required to be tested during examination, and even liberalized them slightly

This article describes a certification system of persons responsible for functional safety developed by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT-CERT) in Poland in cooperation with members of the Programme Committee No. 8 and representatives of two technical universities: in Gdansk and Warsaw. The system is consistent with standard ISO/IEC 17024 concerning the conformity assessment, and includes requirements of EN 61508 and some sector standards. The certification and training programs include two levels of qualification: I – general and II – expert, and four specializations in functional safety: A – hardware and software, B – process industry, C – machinery, and D – nuclear power plants.
