The undertaken research on the expansibility of the developed hygenization technology process of wastewater sludge (which is pending by patent) to environment utilization, meets main requirements of heavy metals stabilization. Treatment of municipal wastewater sludge by dust from electrofilters of cement mills with addition of roasting raw detrital basalt is the base of this technology. These additions cause heavy metals to fix in the sludge. The modification of this technology involves using cellulose fibrous mass made from other waste - waste paper. In this work it was shown that the degree of extraction of heavy metals from mixtures with addition of cellulose fibrous mass (in comparison with mixture prepared without this addition) is smaller by about 1 - 2%. In both cases (the mixture with addition of cement kiln dust and the mixture without the addition), the sequence of the extraction of heavy metals (by continuous method at pH = 4.0 š 0.1 with acetic acid) increases in direction Pb < Cr, Ni < Cd < Zn < Cu.
