Coroczne zwiększanie ilości odprawionych pasażerów, otwieranie nowych kierunków, pozyskiwanie kolejnych przewoźników oraz otwarcie terminalu cargo świadczy zarówno o wytężonej pracy zarządzających Portem Lotniczym Lublin, jak i o dużym potencjale Lubelszczyzny. W 2016 r. na terenie bezpośrednio sąsiadującym z lotniskiem wybudowany został terminal cargo. Inwestorem jest firma XPH Poland Sp. z o.o., będąca filią włoskiej firmy XPH Xpress Handling, która ma swoją siedzibę w Mediolanie. Od ponad 30 lat zajmuje się transportem lotniczym, w ramach którego oferuje usługi w pełnym zakresie – od przesyłek lotniczych, przez usługi handlingowe (obsługa statków powietrznych w portach lotniczych – np. tankowanie czy załadunek) po transport odpadów niebezpiecznych. Terminal cargo powstał w odpowiedzi na zapotrzebowanie lokalnego rynku. Lotnisko wraz z terminalem cargo posiadają dogodne położenie i są dobrze połączone z siecią dróg oraz z koleją. Terminal cargo stanowi ważne ogniwo w intermodalnym transporcie towarów.

The annual increase of the number of passengers, opening new directions, carry the acquisition of new logistic operators and the opening of the cargo terminal provides both the hard work Lublin Airport managing team, as well as the high potential of Lublin. In 2016 in the area immediately adjacent to the airport was built cargo terminal. The investor is the company XPH Poland Sp. z o.o. a subsidiary of the Italian company XPH Xpress Handling, which has its own sitting in Milan. For more than 30 years of experience in air transport in which offers the full service - from air freight, by handling services (operation of aircraft at airports - for example: refueling or loading) after including transport of hazardous waste. Cargo terminal was created in response to the demand of the local market. The airport with the cargo terminal have a convenient location and it is well connected to the network of roads and rail. Cargo terminal is an important link in the intermodal transport of goods.

W artykule przedstawione zostały podstawowe założenia niezbędne przy projektowaniu kolejowo-drogowej bazy przeładunkowej dla transportu intermodalnego. Dokonano ogólnej charakterystyki terminala kontenerowego, struktury przepływu jednostek ładunkowych obsługiwanych przez terminal kontenerowy oraz przedstawiono analityczną procedurę projektowania lądowej bazy przeładunkowej w oparciu o zadanie projektowe. Zaprezentowano również schemat przestrzenno-funkcjonalny dla projektowanego terminala przeładunkowego w oparciu o założenia oraz na podstawie dokonanych obliczeń.

The article presents the elementary foundations necessary for designing rail-road transhipment base for the intermodal transport. There are make general characteristics of the container terminal, the structure of the flow of unit loads supported by the container terminal and presents the analytical design procedure for transhipment base based on the design task. Also presented spatial-functional diagram for the proposed transshipment terminal, based on the assumption and on the basis of the analytical calculations.

W ramach artykułu autorzy przedstawili lotnicze terminale cargo znajdujące się w Polsce oraz skalę, na jaką odbywa się transport przy ich udziale. Rola transportu lotniczego w Polsce wciąż jest marginalizowana. Autorzy w opracowaniu postanowili znaleźć przyczynę tego stanu, przeprowadzając analizy danych wejściowych oraz identyfikując i wyznaczając ryzyko związane z tym typem transportu. W niniejszym opracowaniu omówiono także przebieg całego procesu organizacji transportu lotniczego z punktu widzenia zleceniodawcy oraz procedury z nim związane. Pozwoliło to na wspomniane już wcześniej dokonanie wstępnej oceny ryzyka związanego z organizacją transportu typu cargo Autorzy analizując zarządzanie ryzykiem w transporcie lotniczym powołali się także na dokumenty opracowywane przez Ministerstwo Transportu, Budownictwa i Gospodarki Morskiej określające strategie jaką przyjmuje się w Polsce w celu rozwoju tej gałęzi przemysłu oraz poprawy bezpieczeństwa w niej. W ostatnim punkcie autorzy dokonali podsumowań dotyczących realizowanego tematu oraz przedstawili krótkie wnioski.

In this article authors present cargo air terminals located in Poland and the scope of transport happening by means of them. The importance of air transportation in Poland is still underestimated. In the study authors decided to find a cause of this state by carrying out the analysis of input data as well as identifying and determining the risk related to this kind of transportation. The article provides a description of the whole process of organizing air transportation from the customer’s point of view and characteristics of related procedures. This enabled the authors to accomplish aforementioned initial risk evaluation related to the organization of cargo air transportation. In the risk management analysis the authors referred to the documents elaborated by the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy which define the strategy employed in Poland in order to develop this branch of the industry and improve safety of it. In the last point the authors summarized elaborated topic and introduced short conclusions.

In dem Artikel wurde die Situation der Luftfrachtverkehr Terminals in Polen dargestellt, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Umfangs, auf der die Beförderung erfolgt. Die Bedeutung des Luftverkehrs wird in Polen nach wie vor marginalisiert. Die Autoren wollten den Grund dafür herausfinden. Sie haben die Eingabedaten analysiert und das Risiko, das mit diesem Verkehrsmittel verbunden ist, erkannt. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde der ganze Prozess der Organisation des Flugverkehrs aus eines Auftraggebers Sicht besprochen. Dank der genauer Analyse des Flugverkehrs mit Terminals “Cargo” konnte das Risiko vorläufig bewertet werden. Bei der Auswertung der Risikoverwaltung im Flugverkehr haben sich die Autoren auf Dokumente des Ministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Seeschifffahrt berufen. Die erwähnten Publikationen bestimmen die Strategie, wie der Flugtransport in Polen entwickelt wird und welche Maßnahmen eingesetzt werden, um die Sicherheit des Transports zu verbessern. Im letzten Teil fassten die Autoren das realisierte Thema zusammen und präsentierten die Schlussfolgerungen.
