W poniższej pracy przedstawiono rozeznanie literaturowe na temat pomiaru magnetyzmu koła ogumionego oraz przedstawiono trzy patenty mające związek z magnetyzmem koła ogumionego. Dalej zaprezentowano zbudowane stanowisko pomiarowe do mierzenia zmian pola magnetycznego koła ogumionego oraz samej opony. Przedstawiono również parametry statystyczne, które opisują w sposób jednoznaczny zmiany pola magnetycznego koła ogumionego w trzech kierunkach pomiarowych (z, y, z). Dalej zaprezentowano charakterystyki dla kierunku pomiarowego z i x, jednego kompletu kół ogumionych. Dokonano również analizy ilościowej i jakościowej otrzymanych charakterystyk.

The article presents an analysis of the literature on tyre magnetism and methods of recording changes in magnetic field caused by a rotating tyre (patent solutions – two from the USA and one from Poland). In addition, the authors presented a prototype of their own device for measuring changes in the magnetic field of wheels and tyres. A built measuring machine is separated on modules and it allows measuring in three directions. The collected data from the experiment allowed, using formulas (e.g. minimum value, maximum value, peak to peak value, skewness distribution ordinates, ordinate distribution kurtosis value), to determine the quantitative changes of the analyzed profiles. Statistical parameters and characteristics are presented which quantitatively determine the course of changes of the magnetic field at the circumference of a wheel or tyre as a function of the angle of rotation. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tested tyre set revealed that the magnetic profiles within one vehicle differ.
