Dokonano ekonomicznej oceny innowacyjności przedsiębiorstw polskiego przemysłu chemicznego i określono perspektywy jej zwiększenia. Innowacyjność oceniono za pomocą analizy mierników charakteryzujących nakłady i wyniki. Nakłady określają zdolność przedsiębiorstw do tworzenia innowacji, a wyniki pozwalają ocenić wyniki działalności innowacyjnej. Analiza innowacyjności polskiego przemysłu chemicznego wykazała, że jest ona dosyć wysoka, szczególnie wśród producentów wyrobów farmaceutycznych oraz wyrobów chemicznych i chemikaliów. W przyszłości przedsiębiorstwa przemysłu chemicznego chcą zwiększać innowacyjność jako odpowiedź na wyzwania rozwojowe.

Investment expenditures designed by enterprises to create innovations in chem., pharmaceutical, and plastic/rubber sectors as well as shares of revenues from the sale of innovative products in these sectors in 2008–2015 were used as indicators of innovativeness. Among the analyzed enterprises, the least innovativeness was obsd. in the plastic and rubber sector.

W artykule omówione zostały wybrane rodzaje urządzeń laserowych oraz ich wykorzystanie w logistyce. Ze względu na szeroką gamę produktów, zostały przedstawione jedynie urządzenia laserowe o najpopularniejszym zastosowaniu w przemyśle oraz innowacyjne, stanowiące wsparcie podczas procesów logistycznych w centrach logistycznych. Analizując zastosowanie urządzeń laserowych, szczególną uwagę zwrócono na obszary zastosowań, jakimi są produkcja oraz procesy w centrum logistycznym.

This article presents the types of laser devices and their use in logistics. Due to the wide range of products, the presentation of laser devices has been limited to show only the most popular in industry and innovation products, which support logistics processes in the logistics centers. Analyzing the use of laser devices, special attention was paid to the areas of application, which are a production and processes in the logistics center.

W odpowiedzi na zachodzące zmiany w ramach globalnej gospodarki logistyka (zarówno praktyka, jak i teoria) musi wypracować szereg skutecznych i użytecznych reguł działania, które zapewniają prawidłowy, szybki i elastyczny przebieg procesów biznesowych, przepływ dóbr w całych łańcuchach (sieciach) logistycznych. Szybkość zmian zachodzących w otoczeniu wymusza na przedsiębiorstwach ciągłe dostosowywanie się, których alternatywą jest przegrywanie na coraz bardziej konkurencyjnym rynku. Celem prowadzonych rozważań w artykule jest wskazanie roli i znaczenia innowacyjności w realizacji współczesnych i perspektywicznych zadań logistycznych.

In response to the changes in the global economy, logistics (both practice and theory) needs to develop a number of effective and useful rules of operation that ensure the proper, fast and flexible flow of business processes, the flow of goods throughout the logistics chains (networks). The rate of change occurring in the environment forces companies to continuous adaptation, to which losing in an increasingly competitive market is only one alternative. The aim the article is to identify the role and importance of innovation in the implementation of contemporary and future logistic tasks.

Rapid changes in enterprise environment call for the same measures on behalf of pro-innovated responses of enterprise both in the areas of processes and products. Fulfillment of this condition requires a suitable innovative polities related to the proper choice of production and supply chain. Two main production strategies, which promote innovativeness in the area of processes and products (Lean Strategy and Agile Strategy), have been discussed in this paper. A condition of the selection of the proper strategy as well as chances of this strategy development in specified supply chain has been presented too.

Innovation activity of the firm shows by new products creation, the old ones improvement, production processes improvement and rationalisation of the organisation and styles of management. Variability of innovation activities and theirs evaluation criteria cause subjective evaluation of innovation level. GUS uses share ratio of innovation firms in global number of the considered firms to innovation Polish firms evaluation. Taking into consideration some innovation activity assumptions, innovation of Polish firms in 1997 - 1998 from the number of patents and number of inventions submitted to patenting is presented m the paper. The e Polish industry achievement and United Europe industry achievement is compared.
