The article discusses the logistic utility of registration data of automated measuring systems in the practice of operational management of national roads, expressways and motorways, as well as the shaping of the quality of logistic services.The analysis of the key problem is presented in the article on the example of the automatic toll collection system viaTOLL, operating on the indicated roads.The publication draws attention to the key and extramural information character of data registered, stored and offered by specialized, automated record systems. He points to the multifaceted and simultaneous usefulness of this data to the organization and management of the scale of road logistics processes, regardless of the chief, specialized function assigned to a specific automated recording system involved in the recording of specific road incidents.

Dla współczesnej organizacji gospodarczej posiadane zasoby informacyjne stanowią jeden z najważniejszych czynników zapewnienia realizacji procesów biznesowych. Utrata danych w wyniku awarii systemu lub zaistniałej katastrofy najczęściej uniemożliwia powrót do prawidłowego funkcjonowania na rynku. W artykule przeanalizowano potencjalne przyczyny utraty informacji i omówiono sposoby zapobiegania utracie danych i ich odtwarzania w przypadku katastrofy.

In the contemporary enterprise all business processes can be carried out mainly thanks to company's information resources. Data loss in the case of disaster or system malfunction often results in disappearing the company from the market. In the paper possible causes of such scenario and methods how to prevent data loss and recover the system after disaster are presented.

W artykule omówiono pojęcie dostępności informacji oraz zintegrowaną, parametryczną ocenę aktualnej dostępności informacji w organizacji gospodarczej. Przedstawiono zarówno sposób wykorzystania zaproponowanej oceny na podstawie realnych scenariuszy, jak i analizę wpływu wybranych wartości parametrów na uzyskaną ocenę. Podane zostały uzyskane wartości zintegrowanej oceny dla poszczególnych scenariuszy oraz zakresy zmienności oceny, ze względu na wartości wybranych parametrów.

In the paper the term of information availability is described together with the integrated information availability assessment in the enterprise. Authors present the way of the described assessment implementation in the real scenarios and discuss an influence of the chosen parameters' values on the assessment value.

The main scope of this article deals with business information system and their innovation. On the base of analogy manufacturing technology and with using of methodology ITIL and CobiT is suggest way of evaluation and innovation of the business information systems for each of their partial areas. These areas are functionality of information system, SW decision support, data, controlling of IT, processes in IT, peoples in IT, information and communication technology. There is a rule being defined for each innovation area in a seven-step scale, and with this approach the innovation can be reached for each single area and in different levels. Innovation levels are part of suggested methodology, which offers evaluation and innovation of business information system.
