W artykule dokonano analizy rozwoju infrastruktury budowlanej we Wrocławiu w świetle przygotowań do piłkarskiej imprezy sportowej na szczeblu europejskim. Rozwój ten spowodowany jest potrzebą dopasowania istniejącej infrastruktury do standardów przewidzianych dla tego typu wydarzeń. Autorzy dokonali analizy poszczególnych segmentów infrastruktury miejskiej oraz planów ich rozwoju. W materiale postawiono tezę, że organizowanie markowych imprez jest najlepszą formą promocji i rozwoju każdego miasta. Taka forma rozwoju ma swoje zalety, ale generuje także problemy, które zostały opisane w przedstawionym artykule.

The article analyses development of Wroclaw's building infrastructure in the light of preparations for Eropean level football championship. This type of performance demands an existing infrastructure development to achieve required standard. Authors analysed different types of urban infrastructure and its plans of development. In this material is put thesis that organizing performance like European Football Championship is fairest form of promotion and development of each city. However, such form of evoltion generates from the one hand advantages on the other hand problems also. These problems have been described in presented paper.
