W artykule omówiono problematykę projektowania i wykonania linii napowietrznych, sieci elektroenergetycznej średniego napięcia SN. Artykuł został podzielony na dwie zasadnicze rozdziały. W rozdziale 1, przy opisie projektowania linii napowietrznej, zwrócono szczególną uwagę na wymagania stawiana sieciom energetycznym, scharakteryzowano dobór przewodów, izolatory, osprzęt, konstrukcje wsporcze oraz warunki zawieszenia przewodów. Opisano rozpiętość przęseł oraz wybór trasy. W rozdziale 2, dotyczącym wykonania linii napowietrznej, przedstawiono organizację robót, odtworzenie trasy, fundamentowanie i stawianie słupów, montaż przewodów, regulację zwisów, prace wykończeniowe oraz warunki odbioru.

The paper discusses the problems of design and construction of overhead lines, power medium voltage MV network. The paper has been divided into two main chapters. In Chapter 1, the description of the overhead line design has focused on the requirements for power networks, the selection of wires, isolators, accessories, support structures and cable suspension conditions. In Chapter 2, the construction of the overhead line shows the organization of the works, the reconstruction of the route, the foundation and placement of the columns, the assembly of the wires, the overhang regulation, the finishing work and the reception conditions.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia linii napowietrznych, sieci elektroenergetycznej średniego napięcia SN, z punktu widzenia jej budowy. Szczegółowo opisano konstrukcje wsporcze linii, elementy osprzętu, takie jak: uchwyty, haki, pokrywy, zaciski. Scharakteryzowano ochronę przeciwłukową, opisano izolatory oraz budowę przewodów. W artykule zamieszczono fotografie własne, wykonane przez autorów artykułu, przedstawiające poszczególne, rzeczywiste elementy linii napowietrznej SN.

The paper presents selected issues of overhead electrical power lines of medium voltage MV. The paper discusses the construction of overhead electrical power lines. Described in detail the support structures of the line. Mainly discusses the accessory items, such as: transmission towers, insulators, handles, hooks, covers and clamps. The arcing protection devices are also described. The paper presents own photographs, made by the authors, depicting the individual, real elements of the MV line.

The Vancouver City Central Transmission (VCCT) project is BC Hydro’s most significant upgrade to Vancouver’s electrical system in 30 years. The VCCT project consists of nearly five miles of 230 kV underground transmission circuits, including a 2,788-foot horizontal directional drilled (HDD) crossing beneath False Creek that was bored to 44 inches in diameter. Additionally, a new distribution substation with an ultimate capacity of 400 MVA and commissioned to an initial capacity of 134 MVA was constructed.
