PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. sprawdzają nowatorską metodę która pozwoli dokładniej ocenić stan obiektów kolejowych, lepiej zaplanować remonty oraz zmniejszyć koszty utrzymania. Projekt realizowany jest w ramach Programu Badań Stosowanych, a dofinansowany przez Narodowe Centrum Badań Rozwoju (NCBiR).

PKP Polskie Lime Kolejowe S.A. are testing an innovative method which will provide more accurate assessment of railway infrastructure, more effective renovation planning and lower maintenance costs. It appears that simple sensors that are being placed in smartphones or tablets can be considered reliable testing devices. Project is carried out as a part of Applied Research Programme and funded by The National Centre for Research and Development.

Przedstawiamy koncepcję nowego systemu monitorowania konstrukcji inżynierskich, który będzie konkurencyjny w stosunku do obecnie istniejących systemów.

Bridge monitoring has been developed in high-level industrialized countries since many years. The need for monitoring was originally caused by geographical conditions and bridge design of extreme parameters. In the last years bridge monitoring has extended its application as the instrument for an efficient bridge management. The bridge monitoring is not popular in Poland. Some reasons for this situation are presented in the paper. The idea of the new monitoring system is also presented. The system was developed to be competitive to existing monitoring systems. The new system makes possible to monitor bridge structures during construction and service. It is realized by strain/stress, acceleration and temperature continuous measurements.
