Artykuł omawia kierunki rozwoju systemów zarządzania infrastrukturą mostową w kontekście powszechnej cyfryzacji gospodarki. Jej podstawą jest metodyka BIM. Przedstawiono możliwości implementacji rozwiązań informatycznych w systemach zarządzania infrastrukturą mostową oraz wyłaniający się z tego schemat przyszłej cyberinfrastruktury, która zastąpi dzisiejsze systemy typu BMS (Bridge Management System). Pokazano prototyp mobilnego urządzenia Smart Bridge Inspector do wspomagania inspekcji w terenie. Skuteczność aplikacji testowana była w licznych eksperymentach na obiektach mostowych w terenie.

The article discusses the directions of the development of bridge infrastructure management systems in the context of the universal digitization of the economy. Its basis is the BIM methodology. Implementing modern IT solutions in bridge management systems (BMS) will result in future cyber-infrastructure, which will replace today’s systems. A new mobile device Smart Bridge Inspector prototype to support bridge inspections was shown. The effectiveness of the application was tested in numerous experiments on bridges in the field.

Artykuł przedstawia możliwości wykorzystania cyfrowych technologii do zarządzania obiektami mostowymi w ramach systemów typu SGM (systemów gospodarowania mostami). Szczególnie potraktowana została metodyka BIM, która pozwoli uwzględnić w tych procesach cały cykl życia obiektu.

The article presents the possibilities of using digital technologies to manage bridge facilities within bridge management systems. The BIM methodology has been addressed in particular. It will enable including the entire bridge life cycle in these processes.

Artykuł przedstawia propozycję innowacyjnego podejścia do wykonywania inspekcji obiektów mostowych z użyciem metodyki BIM. Proponowane rozwiązania staną się w przyszłości jednymi z głównych elementów nowoczesnych systemów gospodarowania mostami, które będą zgodne z filozofią Asset Management, czyli zarządzania aktywami w infrastrukturze.

The article presents a proposal of an innovative approach to bridge inspection using the BIM technology. At the beginning, the current practice and the tools used in this field are discussed. Attention is paid to the decreasing quality of bridge inspections, especially at the lower levels of the local infrastructure administration. Then the position of a bridge structure in the BIM data structure complying with the IFC4x2 standard is shown. The need to standardize the inspection process itself in compliance with this data storage format is emphasized, with the option of introducing an accreditation system of a quality system in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard. The last section discusses new techniques of bridge inspections, which are based on the implementation of BrIM models and augmented reality tools. In the future, the proposed solutions will become one of the main elements of modern bridge management systems, which will be consistent with the asset management philosophy in infrastructure.
