Połączenia klejowe są jednym z rodzajów połączeń montażowych stosowanych podczas procesu montażu autobusów, oprócz połączeń spawanych, nitowanych oraz śrubowych. W niniejszym opracowaniu przedstawiono zagadnienia dotyczące zastosowania technologii klejenia w budowie autobusów. Wskazano na rodzaje materiałów łączonych za pomocą klejenia, nie tylko połączeń takich samych materiałów, ale także różnoimiennych. Zastosowanie klejenia dotyczy zarówno łączenia różnych elementów wyposażenia autobusów (elementów wewnętrznych), jak i wielu elementów konstrukcyjnych, będących podstawowymi elementami konstrukcji autobusu. Istotnym aspektem procesu klejenia jest rodzaj klejów i innych materiałów adhezyjnych wykorzystywanych w budowie autobusów, gdyż w zależności od wymagań, właściwości, rodzaju łączonych materiałów i innych czynników, stosowane są kleje o określonych właściwościach. W pracy przedstawiono przykładowe wykorzystanie klejenia w budowie autobusów, rodzaje łączonych materiałów oraz rodzaje i pożądane właściwości materiałów adhezyjnych.

Adhesive joints are one of the types of joints used during the assembly process of assembling buses, in addition to welded, riveted and bolted joints. This paper presents issues concerning the application of adhesive technology in the construction of buses. The types of joining materials not only the same materials, but also dissimilar were indicated. The use of bonding applies not only to joining the different elements of equipment buses (internal components), but also a number of structural elements, which are essential elements of the construction of the bus. An important aspect of the bonding process is the type of adhesive and other adhesive materials. Depending on the requirements, performance, type of adherends, and other factors the various types of adhesives were used. The paper presents an example of the use of bonding in the buses construction, the types of adherends and the type and recommended properties of adhesive materials.

W artykule przedstawiono pespektywy rozwoju technologii klejenia, która ze względu na liczne zalety coraz częściej stosowana jest w różnych gałęziach przemysłu np. motoryzacyjnym, kolejowym, lotniczym, elektronicznym. Omówiono możliwości klejenia nowych materiałów – kompozytów, stosowanych przy produkcji np. pojazdów szynowych, turbin wiatrowych i statków, których zastosowanie jest możliwe tylko za pomocą technologii klejenia. W artykule przedstawiono czynniki wpływające na uzyskanie wysokiej jakości połączenia, a także skupiono się na ograniczeniach i wadach tej metody oraz aspektach dotyczących bezpieczeństwa pracy przy procesach klejenia.

The article presents the perspectives of adhesive bonding technology development. This technology, taking into consideration its advantages, is more and more often applied in different industrial branches e.g. automotive, railway engineering, aviation and electronics. Possibilities of adhesive bonding of new materials – composites are elaborated in the article. Composites are mainly used in production of e.g. rail vehicles, wind turbines and ships and their application is possible only using adhesive bonding technology. Article describes the factors which influence on obtaining high quality joints and also restrictions, disadvantages and occupational safety aspects of this technology.

Artykuł przedstawia możliwości tkwiące w technologii klejenia, podstawowe pojęcia z tego zakresu, przykłady klejów stosowanych w przemyśle w procesie produkcji autobusów oraz przewidywane drogi rozwoju technologii klejenia w przyszłości.

This paper describes basics of adhesive bonding technology. Basics definitions i.e. adhesion and cohesion are explained. There are advantages and disadvantages concerned with that technology. Adhesive bonding is shown as a very fast developing technology, the number of its applications is still increasing, so possible ways of developing this technology in future are described. A comparison with traditional method of jointing (welding, riveting, bolting etc.) is included. As an example of industrial application of adhesives, Volvo Polska factory is used. There are adhesives described which are currently in use and typical adhesive bonding operations in bus building industry. Each group of industrial adhesives is described with its characteristic properties, advantages and disadvantages. All topics mentioned in that paper can be analysed as a separate subject.
