W referacie omawia się: charakterystykę wyburzanego komina i sposób jego obalania; charakterystykę badanego budynku; charakterystykę pomierzonych drgań budynku i gruntu w sąsiedztwie; cechy dynamiczne badanego budynku; ocenę zachowania się budynku poprzez analizę przestrzennego modelu budynku podlegającego wymuszeniem kinematycznym przyjętym na podstawie pomierzonych drgań fundamentu budynku; porównano obliczone i pomierzone przemieszczenia górnej kondygnacji budynku; porównano obliczone naprężenia z uzyskanymi z pomiarów odkształceń przy użyciu tensometrii elektrooporowej.

The paper deals with the following: characteristics of the demolished chimney and the way of its falling; characteristics of the investigated building; characteristics of the measured building and ground vibrations; dynamic properties of the investigated building; evaluation of the building behavior by the analysis of a building model subjected to kinematic forcing (on the basis of the measured foundation vibrations). The calculated and measured displacements of the upper story were compared; the computed stresses compared with those from the stains measured by the electric resistance sensors.

Omówiono prace przygotowawcze dwu stalowych kotłowni wysokości 52 m i dwu żelbetowych kominów wysokości 120 i 100 m do wyburzenia z użyciem MW. Opisano obiekty w sąsiedztwie obalanych konstrukcji, pomiary ich drgań i gruntu w sąsiedztwie, charakterystykę pomierzonych drgań gruntu i obiektów. Oceniono stopień szkodliwości pomierzonych drgań w odniesieniu do badanych budynków. Stwierdzono rezonansowy charakter drgań fundamentu turbogeneratora i wielokrotne przekroczenie dopuszczalnych przemieszczeń drgań górnej płyty fundamentu z uwagi na funkcjonowanie maszyny.

The paper deal with: preparation of two steel fire-room and two RC chimneys to the blast demolition, description of structural buildings in the proximity of the demolished structures, description of their vibration measurement and of the ground nearby, characterization of the measured ground and structure vibrations as an effect of demolished structure masses, and evaluation of harmfulness of measured vibration to the investigated structures. Resonant vibrations of the turbogenerator foundation were recorded and it was noted that they were way in excess of the permissible vibration displacements of upper plate of the foundation due to the machine operations.
