Artykuł dotyczy katastrofy budowlanej hali magazynowej w jednym z centrów logistycznych. Bezpośrednią przyczyną zawalenia się dachu hali była niesprawność instalacji odwodnieniowej. W artykule przedstawiono aspekty prawne wadliwego wykonania obiektu i przeprowadzono ocenę wpływu rozwiązania konstrukcyjnego hali na przebieg zniszczenia. Udokumentowano i omówiono aspekty wykonawcze, które przyczyniły się do katastrofy budowlanej. Wnioski mogą posłużyć do zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa tego typu obiektów.

The case study of a storage hall disaster in one of the logistics center was presented in the paper. The direct reason of the collapse of the roof of the hall was the failure of the drainage system. The legal aspects of faulty workmanship of structure was considered in the paper. An assessment of the impact of structural solutions hall on the course of destruction was conducted. Aspect of realization, which contributed to the cause construction disaster were documented and discussed. Conclusions could be used to increase the safety of this type objects.

The analysis of personal and structural security dimension is a focal reflection point of social contract theory creators. The genesis of the state is due to be searched in primeval security and safety need that leads an individual out of the state of nature and introduces the political order. The state is a creation of a human need to exist, survive and develop. Limitations that protectionism of political power brings are compensated by the personal security principle (relating to an individual entering the contract) and structural security (protecting the political structure).
