The paper presents the description and results of experimental research whose purpose was to analyze the vibration influence the miner's body during riding on a belt conveyor for transporting coal. The transport of people on mining belt conveyors is a commonly used method to increase mining efficiency and improve a mine's profitability. The paper presents an assessment of safety and comfort parameters used in transporting people, the effect of strong vibrations on the human body and its internal organs, the measuring system used to record the accelerations during the experiment and the measurement results. The recorded data enabled a dynamic analysis of the movement and an assessment of safety and comfort of transported miners on the basis of defined indicators. The data included the accelerations from the moment of getting on the conveyor belt to the moment of going down onto the platform. The tests were carried out for two different belt conveyor speeds, which allowed to assess how conveyor speed affects safety and comfort of people transported on the mining belt conveyor.

Dobrze, że w ostatnim czasie opublikowano pierwsze na świecie wyniki badań związane z obecną pandemią. Dzięki nim zaczynamy rozumieć, jak koronawirus rozprzestrzenia się w przestrzeni wagonu kolejowego i jakie jest ryzyko zakażenia osób w nim podróżujących.

The article attempts to solve the necessity to introduce changes to the public transport system regarding passenger exchange points to increase the safety of people traveling with public transport. ZTM, which is servicing urban bus transport in Warsaw, needs to implement necessary elements very urgently to avoid the coronavirus pandemic's adverse effects. As the virus spreads rapidly, it is essential to propose solutions that will increase travelers' safety and increase public transport capacity. It is necessary to modify and extend the bus stop's functionality as a passenger exchange point with disinfection elements and ensure that people can only enter the bus after disinfection.

Artykuł przedstawia próbę rozwiązania problemu dotyczącego konieczności wprowadzenia zmian w systemie transportu publicznego w zakresie punktów wymiany pasażerów. Zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa osób podróżujących transportem publicznym, a w szczególności transportem autobusowym ZTM, w dobie współczesnych zagrożeń jest elementem koniecznym, w celu przeciwstawiania się negatywnym wpływom pandemii koronawirusa. Biorąc pod uwagę sytuację i szybkie rozprzestrzenianie się wirusów niezbędne jest zaproponowanie rozwiązań, które podniosą poziom bezpieczeństwa podróżujących oraz zwiększą przepustowość transportu publicznego. Konieczna jest modyfikacja i rozszerzenie funkcji przystanku autobusowego jako punktu wymiany pasażerów o elementy służące do ich dezynfekcji oraz zapewnienie bezpośredniego wejścia do autobusu jedynie osób po dezynfekcji.

This paper presents a prototype system being part of an Integrated System of Supporting Information Management in Passenger Traffic (the polish acronym of the system is ZSIKRP Demonstrator+). The system has characteristics distinguishing it from other products available on the market. The system will be tested on a demonstration scale in real conditions. Currently, a prototype system is being prepared for testing by Mazovia and Wielkopolska Railways. It should be noted that main problems for carriers, rolling stock manufacturers and factories that modernize rolling stock are: multiple installation manuals and ways of maintenance. They lead to confusion during the exploitation of rolling stock. The prototype system offers an integrated solution with a unified service, which guarantees a much lower costs and improves the comfort and safety of passengers. Moreover, ZSIKRP system focuses largely on ensuring the safety of travelers in electric (EMU - type) and diesel (PCS - type) vehicles. It takes into account the possibility of practical implementation of the module allowing automatic detection of an improper behavior of drivers. It is done at rail crossings by continuous image analysis and abnormal situations recording.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane problemy bezpieczeństwa podróżnych korzystających z usług publicznego transportu zbiorowego. Zwrócono uwagę na główne przyczyny wywołujące zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa w kolejnych fazach łańcucha podróży, związane z obiektami infrastrukturalnymi, środkami transportu i ich wyposażeniem, organizacją ruchu oraz nieprawidłowymi zachowaniami ludzi. Wskazano kierunki działań na rzecz poprawy bezpieczeństwa podróżnych w środkach transportu i w punktach obsługi podróżnych.

The main reasons causing security risks in subsequent phases of the travel chain have been highlighted, associated with infrastructure facilities, means of transport and their equipment, urban traffic organization and incorrect behavior of journey fellows or other people. The measures to improve the security and safety of passengers in vehicles and service points.
