The permanent rice of consumption and price of meet products over the world have created necessity of looking for every possibility decrease cost of feed production, in this range, first of all, process machines. 15 mln ton corn grains was milled for feet every year by beater grinder. This part of machines characterize substantial energy consumption from 36 to 72 kJ/kg [1,2]. Analysis of literature and own investigation over grinders proved, that modernization of working unit may be reason to importance of energy saving in the process. To put into changes of beaters geometric, which consideration the structure of grain grinding. The verify of test the new rotor solution show advantage energetic compare to traditional one about 24%.

The article describes thermodynamic processes occurring in the pneumatic actuator of the impact tool for soil compaction. The variability of kinematic and thermodynamic parameters was analysed for separate working cycle phases of the tool. The dynamics of changes in the quantities describing the tool's dynamic characteristics, i.e. Displacement and speed of the piston and air pressure in the actuator's working chambers were experimentally determined. A mathematical model describing dynamic characteristics of the impact tool, including the variability of thermodynamic processes occurring during the filling and emptying of the pneumatic actuator chambers was worked out. The result of consideration of the filling and emptying phases for the space above and below the piston as well as of the gas compression and decompression processes for the beater's working and return motions is a model description of thermodynamic processes. The results of the analyses are presented in charts describing the displacement of the beater and the tool's body during soil compacting. The paper also contains dynamics of pressure variability for the actuator chambers. The modelling of dynamic characteristics with thermodynamic processes taken into account is an effective tool for the designer of pneumatic impact tools.

Podstawowym celem analiz opisanych w prezentowanej pracy jest ustalenie kształtu I optymalnych wymiarów podcięcia bijaka. Jako kryterium optymalizacji przyjęto wartość naprężeń na styku bijaka i piasty (pierścienia) koła bijakowego. Przedstawiono dyskretny model obliczeniowy zbudowany z wykorzystaniem MES. Zaprezentowano wyniki symulacji numerycznych sformułowano wnioski.

The main aim of the analyses described in the paper is to determine the shape and size optimization of the relief of the beater. The value of local stresses on beater-hub (ring) contact has been assumed as optimization criterion. Discrete calculation model built with the use of FEM and the results of the calculations have been presented. The conclusions have been formulated.

This paper presents a method of analysing the strength of the beater forming part of the dust-removal device of a boiler when subject to cyclical striking, of the hammer. The finite element method (FEM) was used for this analysis. First the physical models of the hammer and beater are formulated and then a cycle of computer simulations is carried out, as a result of which it is possible to determine the distribution of dynamic compressive stresses in the beater during the impact phases. The results of the analysis can assist designers of dust-removal devices of boilers.
