The degree of awareness and participation of the city inhabitants concerning biowaste segregation in Poznan has been examined. The assessment was based on a questionnaire survey of a local community, conducted in 2019 and 2020. Within the course of one year, a considerable increase was observed in the number of people involved in selective biowaste collection, at the simultaneous lower degree of acceptance for the operating system, which was evident particularly in the group of surveyed men. Among the respondents, the youngest group, represented by people aged 16-25 years, showed the lowest degree of knowledge and activity in the process of segregation. Regardless of the year of the study the greatest involvement in biowaste segregation was found among older people, individuals with university education, and those living in detached houses. A vast majority of respondents indicated the need to increase the number and scope of educational campaigns as one of the possibilities to improve the current, still unsatisfactory level of public participation. The effect of COVID-19 on social participation has not been directly confirmed; however, based on changes in the attitudes of Poznan inhabitants and growing amounts of biowaste such dependencies may be tentatively assumed.

W artykule przedstawiono najistotniejsze zagadnienia dotyczące końcowego odbioru nowego mieszkania zakupionego od dewelopera. Autorzy przeprowadzili analizę ilościową najczęstszych błędów ujawnionych w trakcie odbiorów mieszkań w ostatnich 2 latach – dane zebrano z protokołów odbiorów mieszkań zlokalizowanych w powiecie poznańskim i okolicach. Dodatkowo wskazano najważniejsze elementy mieszkania, które powinny być kontrolowane podczas odbioru i omówiono, jak powinny być oceniane.

The article presents the most important aspects of a procedure for a final acceptance in case of buying a new apartment from the developer. Authors conducted a quantitative analysis of the most common mistakes and remarks revealed during execution of acceptances in housing in the last two years. Data were collected from final acceptance protocols of flats from the city of Poznan (Poland) and its environs. Article identifies key elements and describes a way in which they should be monitored when conducting final acceptance of building premises.

W artykule podjęto tematykę oceny niezawodności konstrukcji stalowych w metodzie współczynników obciążenia i nośności przyjętej w normalizacji europejskiej CEN. Zakres badań i analiz został ograniczony do specyfikacji współczynników nośności przekrojów stalowych wykonanych z krajowych wyrobów hutniczych, wyprodukowanych w Polsce w latach 1976-1980 oraz współcześnie w latach 2005-2010. Wykazano zmiany jakościowe i ilościowe w ocenie niezawodności, jakie zaszły w obliczeniach konstrukcji stalowych, projektowanych wg Eurokodu 3.

The article deals with the analysis of the structural reliability of the steel structures, with the use of the methodology utilizing the coefficients of load and capacity, in line with the CEN European normalization. Scope of the research and analysis was limited down to the specification of the capacity coefficients describing the steel-cross-sections, made out of the Polish steel-works products, manufactured in Poland in the periods between 1976 and 1980, along with additional analysis of the contemporary products manufactured between 2005 and 2010. Qualitative and quantitative changes in the reliability assessment, present in the calculation pertaining the steel structures designed in line with EUROCODE 3, have been indicated.

Przedstawiono nową trójparametrową funkcję rozkładu gęstości prawdopodobieństwa. Przeprowadzone testy zgodności przykładowych doświadczalnych wytrzymałości betonu oraz uzyskanych z obliczeń symulacyjnych łącznych rozkładów funkcji wielu zmiennych losowych wykazały, że funkcja ta dokładniej aproksymuje te rozkłady niż inne znane funkcje rozkładu.

A new type of three parameter probability density function (called NG) with coefficient of skewnees in the interval from O (normal distribution N) to 1,1395 (Gumbel distribution G) has been presented. The enclosed examples of conformity tests have proved better accuracy of this function for approximation of empirical distributions (histograms) than in case of other often used density functions, as well as its usefulness for statistical interpretation of test results.

W pracy przedstawiono różne schematy pobierania próby z populacji generalnej. Te schematy stosuje się w badaniach statystycznych. Przedstawiono też istotę metody reprezentacyjnej, która zajmuje się tymi zagadnieniami. Zwrócono uwagę na możliwość wykorzystania metody reprezentacyjnej w badaniach bezpieczeństwa. Omówiono następujące schematy losowania: losowanie nieograniczone indywidualne ze zwracaniem, losowanie nieograniczone indywidualne bez zwracania oraz losowania ograniczone warstwowe, systematyczne, zespołowe jednostopniowe i wielostopniowe.

In this work different schemes of sampling from general population are represented. These schemes are used in statistical researches. The nature of representative method with deals which these problems is also presented. It turns attention to possibility of utilization of representative method in investigations of safety. The following schemes of sampling are discussed: unrestricted individual sampling with return, unrestricted individual sampling without return and limited stratified sampling, systematical, joint single-stage and multistage.
