W artykule przedstawiono symulacje komputerowe wpływu architektonicznych rozwiązań elewacyjnych, systemów doświetlających oraz systemów ochrony przeciwsłonecznej na ilość światła dziennego w pomieszczeniach biurowca. W badaniach zastosowano metody statyczne. Symulowano warunki nieboskłonu w pełni zachmurzonego oraz czystego. Wyniki pokazały, że każdy element dodany do części przeszklonej elewacji (półki świetlne lub przesłony przeciwsłoneczne) znacznie obniża natężenie promieniowania słonecznego w warunkach nieboskłonu zachmurzonego, co powoduje w Polsce, że ilość światła naturalnego przez wiele dni w roku spada poniżej akceptowalnego poziomu. Ponadto badania wykazały, że półki świetlne równoważą rozkład natężenia oświetlenia w pomieszczeniu, co podnosi komfort wizualny.

The article presents computer simulations of the influence of architectural facade solutions (daylighting systems and sun protection systems) on the daylight availability in the office building. Static methods were used in the research. The conditions of an overcast and clear sky were simulated. The results has shown that each element added to the glazed part of the façade (light shelves or sun shades) significantly reduces the daylight availability under overcast skies, which means that in Poland the amount of natural light falls below the acceptable level for many days a year. In addition, research has shown that the light shelves balance the daylighting levels throughout the room, which increases visual comfort.

Diagnostyka ma na celu rozpoznawanie niesprawności obiektów technicznych. W przypadku silnika spalinowego można ją zastosować w odniesieniu do diagnozowania pojazdów, sprawdzania poprawności działania elementów elektroniki samochodowej. System diagnostyki pokładowej pojazdu znany jest w Europie pod nazwą EOBD. Obowiązuje od 2000 roku także w krajach Unii Europejskiej. Zestawiono w artykule normy i przepisy oraz przykładowe badania prowadzone w Stacjach Kontroli Pojazdów.

Diagnostics is designed to recognize the failure of technical objects. In the case of the internal combustion engine can be used for the diagnosis of vehicles, validate the key components of automotive electronics. On-board diagnostic system is known in Europe as the EOBD. Valid since 2000 also in the countries of the European Union. Standards and regulations are summarized in the article, and also examples of research in Vehicle Inspection Stations.

In this paper an automatic system for measuring motor abilities of mice and the test results of two groups of control mice are presented. The system was designed for the benefit of experiments related to diagnostics of stroke neurological symptoms. Here we tested the validity of a system for monitoring long-term mobility of wild mice using software specifically designed for automated data gathering and analyses. The system analysed all data and filled the database with measured values characterizing the mobility of mice. Subsequent analysis revealed that there is no difference in two groups of control animals. The results indicate that this type of monitoring might constitute a reliable tool for examining neurological functions in laboratory animals.

Wide availability of high-class computer equipment, software, measurement cards, converters as well as of devices cooperating with data acquisition systems makes possible to build technologically advanced, modern measuring systems. Such systems are applied to the testing of electrical machines more and more frequently. Due to the application of a graphical integrated program environment it is possible to intuitionally create applications to acquire, analyze and present measurement data at the user graphical interface. The article presents a laboratory stand for testing of dc motors that is equipped with a modern measuring system. It includes the following elements: a PC, measurement card of the PCL-818L type, converters of current, voltage, rotational speed, and force as well as a software elaborated on the basis of the DasyLab program and adapted to determine selected characteristics of a dc motor.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań amplitud pasożytniczych momentów synchronicznych w zakresie pracy silnikowej i przy rozruchu dla indukcyjnego silnika klatkowego, zasilanego z sieci falownika MSI. Wyniki pomiarowe zostały porównane z wynikami symulacji komputerowych.

In the paper the measurements and simulation results of parasitic synchronous torques arising in the motor region and at the start for an induction squirrel-cage machine fed from 3 phase network and PWM inverter are presented. The measurements and simulations results are compared.
