Background: The ability to assess a situation is one of the key competences of companies operating on the market. One should know if one functions as well as their competitors, better or perhaps worse. In the case of the omnichannel concept, it is difficult to answer this question, since so far there has been no recognized standard for its evaluation. The aim of the article is to present the theory fundamentals of omnichannel measurement and evaluation in an indicator-based form. Methods: The theoretical part features a systematic literature review based on the Scopus abstract and citation database. In the research part, an original indicator-based omnichannel measurement and evaluation theory was presented. The idea was based on the following ideas: marketing mix, benchmarking, OTIFEF, AHP. Results: In the scientific literature, the dominant evaluation of omnichannel is based on financial measures, which, according to the author of this article, does not reflect the essence of the functioning of this concept. Therefore, the research part presents relational omnichannel indicators - individual (4) and aggregate (11) - based on non-financial measures. Conclusions: There are currently no reference omnichannel evaluation instruments. The creation and functioning of such a standard would allow to form objective opinions. The standardization of the omnichannel measurement would enable to perform comparative analyses, the results of which could be used to further improve trade and distribution processes in companies using this sales strategy. The research approach adopted in the article fits very well with the assumptions of the omnichannel concept. The proposed measurement and evaluation theory is simple and universal, and its application is not constrained by any limitations. It enables both individual and comparative evaluation.

Przedmiotem badań opisanych w niniejszym opracowaniu są działania restrukturalizacyjne implikujące dojrzałość przedsiębiorstw w domenie zarządzania zmianami. Zasadniczym celem pracy jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie o poziom – zarysowanych przez ekspertów dziedzinowych – predylekcji do zmian stanowiących o dojrzałości przedsiębiorstw wytwórczych z sektora maszyn rolniczych. Osiągnięcie celu głównego wymagało sformułowania i realizacji celów cząstkowych, do których autorzy zaliczyli: C(1) – zaakcentowanie meritum aksjomatu inklinacji do zmian; C(2) – z wykorzystaniem metody rekonstrukcji i interpretacji literatury przedmiotu – nominowanie obszarów restrukturalizacji determinujących dojrzałość w domenie zarządzania zmianami; C(3) – skompilowanie modelu badawczego w postaci arkusza oceny będącego wypadkową eksploracji piśmiennictwa oraz badania wykonanego wśród celowo dobranych ekspertów dziedzinowych; C(4) – rozpoznanie poziomu w postrzeganiu i konkretyzacji wybranych indykatorów dojrzałości w zarządzaniu zmianami; ewaluacja wśród ekspertów reprezentujących producentów maszyn rolniczych (ustrukturyzowane podejście eksperckie).

The research subject of this study involves restructuring activities implying the maturity of companies in the change management domain. The main purpose of the paper was to attempt to answer the question about the predilection – outlined by domain experts – for changes determining the maturity of manufacturing companies of the agricultural machinery sector. The achievement of the main objective required formulation and implementation of partial objectives, which, according to the authors, include: C(1) – emphasis on the merits of the axiom of inclination to changes; C(2) – through the reconstruction and interpretation of the subject literature – nomination of restructuring areas determining maturity in the change management domain; C(3) – compilation of the research model (in the form of an assessment sheet), resulting from literature studies and research implemented among deliberately selected domain experts; C(4) – recognition of the level of perception and specification of the selected maturity indicators in change management; evaluation of experts representing manufacturers of agricultural machinery (structured expert approach).

W artykule przedstawiono wstępne, częściowe wyniki prac i analiz autora dotyczące zdefiniowania sylwetki - profilu zawodowego nawigatora morskiego. Uzasadniono cel prowadzenia takich badań ukazując przykłady zróżnicowania manewrów statków w sytuacjach zbliżenia. Dokonano analizy czynników wpływających na postępowanie osoby odpowiedzialnej za prowadzenie nawigacji i manewrowanie statkiem morskim. Przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych dotyczących wpływu poszczególnych czynników oraz częściowe wyniki badań symulacyjnych. Prowadzone badania dotyczyły także wielkości powszechnie stosowanych w żegludze parametrów bezpieczeństwa najczęściej ustawianych przez oficerów nawigacyjnych w standardowych urządzeniach statkowych. Rozpatrzono wybrane, uważane za reprezentatywne i charakterystyczne sytuacje, gdzie w ocenie autora najczęściej dochodzi, lub może dochodzić do wypadków morskich. Zaproponowano praktyczne wykorzystanie wyników do wstępnej i bieżącej kwalifikacji oraz oceny osób odpowiedzialnych za bezpieczeństwo nawigacji oraz jako wytyczne do ustawienia spodziewanych wartości parametrów bezpieczeństwa dla jednostek obcych.

The article presents the preliminary, partial results of the authors research and analyses relating to the definition of professional profile of the marine navigator. General purpose of such research is explained showing examples of the diversity of ships manoeuvres in encounter situations. The author conducted analysis of the factors influencing the behaviour of the person in charge of navigation and ship manoeuvring. The results of questionnaire research on the impact of individual factors and partial results of the simulation research are presented. The conducted research included also the values of commonly used in sea navigation safety parameters, which are usually input by the navigational officers on standard ship devices. The range of analysis included selected, considered as representative and characteristic situations, where according to the author, maritime accidents the most frequently occur or may occur. The practical use of the results as the initial and ongoing qualifications assessment of persons responsible for the safety of navigation is proposed as well as indications for setting the expected values of safety parameters for target ships.

Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie eksperckich prognoz zapotrzebowania na energię elektryczną w Polsce, opracowanych na podstawie wyników badań ankietowych, wraz z określeniem perspektyw rozwoju polskich przedsiębiorstw górniczych w kontekście opisanych przewidywań i obecnych uwarunkowań rynkowych. W artykule zaprezentowano kolejno: uzasadnienie podjęcia badań, metodykę badawczą, wyniki badań ankietowych, kluczowe uwarunkowania funkcjonowania polskich przedsiębiorstw górniczych oraz perspektywy ich dalszego rozwoju.

The main objective of the article is to present experts’ forecasts for electricity demand in Poland established on surveyed results and to define perspectives of development for Polish mining enterprises in the context of described predictions and present market conditions. In the article the following issues are presented: justification for undertaking research, methodology of research, key conditions of functioning for Polish mining enterprises and perspectives of their further development.

This paper addresses the issues of gathering necessary data in the field of Project Management while carrying out the research. The potential problems are highlighted based on the surveys done by the authors. The first part of the article presents the conclusions from the Project Management survey carried out on the topic of Critical Success Factors in Project Management. An offshoot of this study led to the second one, where motivating and demotivating factors were explored pertaining to expert involvement. Therefore, the second part shows the interviews conducted with individuals organising Web-based questionnaire research to identify organisational issues and a questionnaire collating the information from the experts on the benefits which could make web-based studies more attractive for respondents in the future. The exploratory research methods are presented and analysed. The benefits for the future practical implementation of key findings are discussed.

In the article expert research result are presented concerning ship's draught measurement error. The questionnaire was carried out in the group of navigation experts and used for building the model of ship's draught determination error. The results are implied in model for safety underkeel clearance determination.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ekspertowych, dotyczących błędu wizualnego odczytu zanurzenia statku. Ankieta została przeprowadzona w grupie ekspertów w dziedzinie nawigacji morskiej i wykorzystana do budowy modelu błędu określania zanurzenia. Uzyskane wyniki wykorzystano w modelu określania bezpiecznej rezerwy wody pod stępką statku.

Navigators` behaviour in a collision situation in open sea areas has been analyzed. This analysis constitutes a basis for the development and verification of a human behaviour model and the application of such model in an onboard decision support system. Expert research has been performed in which questionnaire and simulation methods have been used. Collision prevention and return manoeuvres for a selected ship encounter situation have been examined. Finally, conclusions have been formulated.

Przeprowadzono analizę zachowań nawigatorów w sytuacjach kolizyjnych na akwenie otwartym. Stanowi to podstawę do opracowania i weryfikacji modelu zachowań człowieka oraz zastosowania modelu w systemie wspomagania decyzji na statku. Przeprowadzono badania ekspertowe, w których zastosowano metody ankietową i symulacyjną. Analizowano manewry zapobiegawczy i powrotny dla wybranej sytuacji spotkań statków. Sformułowano wnioski.
