W publikacji omówiono proces certyfikacji i pewne problemy wynikające z doświadczeń Ośrodka Certyfikacji Wyrobów, specjalizującego się w certyfikacji elementów i systemów alarmowych. Certyfikacja wyrobu, a w szczególności wystawienie certyfikatu, wymaga jednoznacznego zdefiniowania przedmiotu certyfikacji. Zdefiniowanie elementu czy systemu alarmowego jako towaru oferowanego na rynku okazało się istotnym problemem. Problem ten wynika z faktu, że producent (importer) systemu na ogół buduje go na konkretne zamówienie klienta (według jego wymagań i potrzeb). Trudność ta polega na ustaleniu jego parametrów technicznych, a w szczególności stopnia zabezpieczenia i klasy środowiskowej. W artykule przedstawiono schemat funkcjonalny systemu alarmowego i jego funkcje wynikające z wymaganego zabezpieczenia. Omówiono ważniejsze kryteria umożliwiające określenie stopnia zabezpieczenia wybranych elementów i systemu alarmowego jako całości, które powinny wspomóc producenta w określeniu certyfikowanego wyrobu i ustaleniu stopnia zabezpieczenia dla tego wyrobu.

The paper discusses the certification process and some problems arising from the experience of the Centre for Products Certification, which specializes in certification of alarm components and alarm systems. The product certification, in particular the issue of a certificate, reguires a clear definition of the certification subject. The definition of a component or an alarm system as a product offered on the market proved to be a major concern. This problem comes from the fact that the manufacturer (or importer) of the alarm system generally builds it up on specific customer order (according to his needs and requirements). The difficulty is to determine its the technical parameters, in particular, the security grade and environmental class. The paper presents the functional diagram of an alarm system and the functions resulting from the reguested protection. Discusses the important criteria for determining the security grade of the selected components and alarm system as a whole, which should help the manufacturer's in the identifying certified product and determining the security grade for this product.
