This paper presents a construction and a principle of a strength operation of adhesive joints measurement system that is subjected to peel testing. This system was used to measure a failure force of adhesive joint specimens. The article presents a strength test results of different glue thickness variants in the front part of an adhesive layer. All specimens are composed of steel adherents (steel type: S235JT) and bonded by an epoxy resin. An investigation confirms a strength increase of a peel test for variants with larger thickness.
