Lower Cretaceous (Valanginian and Berriasian) deposits were identified in the central part of the Polish Carpathian Foreland on the basis to be equal to stratigraphical and microfacial analysis. The maximum thickness of these strata was established at the level of 180 meters. Characteristical microfaunal associations for Lower Cretaceous was identified. Lower Cretaceous complex is represented by carbonate sediments with claystone layers.
