Temperature histories of the air and water were measured using a few different thermocouples including industrial thermometers. Dynamic temperature measurement error during the start-up and shut-down of the power-boilers is very large. Temperature measurement should be accurate particularly during determination of the heat transfer coefficient on the inner surface of the pressure components being in contact with water of steam. In order to do quantitative comparison of thermocouples the first and second order functions u(t) were determined that were answers of the thermocouples for the unit change of the fluid. The methods of decreasing the dynamic measurement error were presented.
