Modified data concerning the density of acrylonitrile (AN) and oligoacrylonitrile as a function of temperature, which were utilized for dilatometric measurements of the course of AN polymerization against 2,2'-azobis (2-methylpropionitrile) (AIBN) and 2,2'-azobis [2-methyl-omega-hydroxy-oligo (oxyethyl) propionate] (AIB-POE) have been presented. The results were interpreted according to the kinetic equations of the order n is greater than or equal to 1 in relation to the monomer.
