Dokonano zestawienia możliwych uszkodzeń rur i powłok stosowanych w bezwykopowej rehabilitacji przewodów kanalizacyjnych metodą CIPP bazując na metodach brytyjskiej, amerykańskiej, nowozelandzkiej i europejskiej. Zamieszczono opisy 7 awarii rur i powłok rehabilitacyjnych, które wystąpiły w okresie do 3 lat po zakończeniu robót. Dokonano analizy przyczyn wystąpienia tych awarii.

A list of possible damages to pipes and liners used in trenchless rehabilitation of sewers using the CIPP method was made, based on British, American, New Zealand and European methods. There are descriptions of 7 failures of pipes and rehabilitation liners that occurred within 3 years after the completion of works. An analysis of the causes of the occurrence these failures was made.

Nadkrytyczne kotły fluidalne stanowią przykład nowoczesnego rozwiązania inżynierskiego wykorzystującego paleniska atmosferyczne ze złożem cyrkulacyjnym. Ich zaletą jest przede wszystkim wysoka sprawność spalania węgla (około 98%) i niska emisja zanieczyszczeń do środowiska, w tym tlenków azotu i tlenków siarki. Obecnie w Polsce i na świecie pracuje ponad kilkaset bloków energetycznych, dla których źródłem pary jest kocioł o tej właśnie konstrukcji. W artykule przedstawiono problemy eksploatacyjne nadkrytycznego bloku energetycznego z kotłem fluidalnym CFB 1300 w latach 2017-2020. Wskazano elementy instalacji szczególnie narażone na intensywne niszczenie i uszkodzenia.

Supercritical fluidized bed boilers are an example of a modern engineering solution using atmospheric furnaces with a circulating bed. Their advantage is primarily high coal combustion efficiency (approximately 98%) and low emissions of pollutants into the environment, including nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides. Currently, there are over several hundred power units operating in Poland and around the world, for which the steam source is a boiler of this particular design. The paper presents operational problems of a supercritical power unit with a CFB 1300 fluidized bed boiler in the period 2017-2020. The elements of the installation that are particularly vulnerable to intensive destruction and damage have been indicated.

Zestawiono najczęściej popełniane błędy na etapie instalowania rur GRP podając jednocześnie możliwe ich przyczyny oraz sposoby ich unikania. Zamieszczono przykład dotyczący możliwych uszkodzeń tych rur w oparciu o ich badanie techniką CCTV w jednym z polskich miast. Badania te zostały wykonane w dwu okresach, bezpośrednio po odbiorze i 14 miesięcy później. Inwestycja ta obejmowała odcinki przewodu kanalizacyjnego o średnicach 300 i 400 mm. Zamieszczono 7 zdjęć ilustrujących zaobserwowane uszkodzenia. Podano także inne przykłady awarii rur GRP, które stwierdzono zarówno w kraju, jak i za granicą.

The paper presents the most common errors made at the stage of installing pipes, together with possible causes of these errors and the ways of avoiding them. An example of possible damage to GRP pipes, which were examined using the CCTV technique, is provided. Tests were performed in one Polish city and covered two stages, immediately after the pipes were commissioned, and then again 14 months later. The investment covered sections of sewers that had a diameter of 300 mm and 400 mm. The observed damage is shown in 7 photos. Other examples of GRP pipe failures, from both Poland and abroad, are also provided in the paper.

Road traffic deaths continue to rise, reaching 1.35 million in recent years. Road traffic injuries are the eighth leading cause of death for people of all ages. Note that there is a wide difference in the crash rate between developed and developing countries and that developed countries report much lower crash rates than developing and underdeveloped countries. World Health Organization reports that over 80% of fatal road crashes occur in developing countries, while developed countries account for about 7% of the total. The rate of road crashes in developing countries is higher than the global average, despite some measures reducing deaths over the last decade. Numerous studies have been carried out on the safety of urban roads. However, comprehensive research evaluating influential factors associated with rural crashes in developing countries is still neglected. Therefore, it is crucial to understand how factors influence the severity of rural road crashes. In the present study, rural roads in Mazandaran province were considered a case study. The Crash data collected from the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization covers 2018 to 2021, including 2047 rural crashes. Dependent variables were classified as damage crashes and injury-fatal crashes. Besides, independent variables such as driver specifications, crash specifications, environment specifications, traffic specifications, and geometrical road specifications were considered parameters. The logit model data indicate that factors associated with driver and crash specifications influence rural crashes. The type of crashes is the most critical factor influencing the severity of crashes, on which the fatal rate depends. The findings suggested that implementing solutions that minimize the effect of the factors associated with injury and death on rural roads can reduce the severity of crashes on rural roads that share the same safety issues as the case study. Further studies can also be conducted on the safety and mechanics of the vehicle by focusing the research on the types of vehicles and the sources of the damage.

Przedstawienie wydarzeń jest formą opisu zaistniałej awarii według standardów przyjętych w protokołach awaryjnych Elektrowni Kozienice. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują końcowe wnioski odnoszące się nie tylko do eksploatowanych urządzeń, lecz również do postaw ich użytkowników.
