Content available Proposal of the Assembly Line Structure Modification
EN
This paper describes the application of computer simulation for the purpose of analysis of an assembly line and the subsequent proposal of changes to increase productivity. Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software was used for modeling, simulations, and analyses. Based on simulations and analyses of the original state, the bottlenecks of the line were identified, and improvement measures were proposed. The simulation model was adjusted, and the new state of the line was simulated. Based on the new simulation, it was proven that the proposed improvement would help in increasing the productivity of the assembly line. Computer simulation, in addition to verifying the production process itself, enables the optimal setting of the assembly line without interfering with the production itself.

The paper is aimed at measuring innovation and qualification of technological operations in automotive production within the quality management system. Quality requirements according to ISO/TS 16949 promote a process approach for the design and development, production, installation and servicing of automotive products, which can result in increased quality, reduced variation and increase of efficiency. The solution focuses on the process of approval of parts in series production (Production Part Approval Process – PPAP). The PPAP purpose is to determine whether an organization properly understood all customer requirements listed in the specifications and records of the technical design of the product. PPAP further verifies that the process has the potential to produce a product in series production so that customer requirements will be met, in actual production volume and at the agreed rate of production. Specifically, a toothed winch of hydroelectric generator is solved by the case study.

Quality management systems (QMS) in the automotive industry have several differences in comparison with other industrial factories. Each customer has his own specific requirements, the so-called CSRs (Customer Specific Requirements). Audits are one of the core-tools of quality management to make the PDCA cycle work. It is clear that compliance to ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements is a condition for supplying the automotive industry. But there are some standards which co-exist together with the official ISO9001 Q-management systems standards and technical specification ISO/TS16949. What are those specific standards in the automotive industry and which standard should be used and why – those are the questions to be answered in this article.

Content available remote Automotive glocalisation and sector succes in the CEE countries
EN
There has been a long way since the reestablishment of the country’s industrial network up to flourishing of the automotive industry situated in the heart of world class developments. Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Countries from some point of new investments can reach more than newcomer countries in the other parts of the world. Basically: • evolution in the living level, • increase in the continental role, • big increase in the sophisticated production without negative environmental influence, • work proposal for talent young generation, • important share in the division of labour. The paper is a short analysis concentrating on decision, trends, results and possibilities from CEE countries to be preparing for continental divide of labour in automotive industry. Labour force share by occupation – average world, EU_15 and Central Europe – selection. GDPppp – gross domestic product in purchasing power parity, the trend of Slovak industrial production, system and module supplies from Slovak area for CE “sitting” places of OEM are presented in the paper.
