The article presents a method of transferring topological optimization results directly to CAD system. The devel- oped method is based on sequential removal and addition of material, ignoring lesser fragments of the model. The input data includes coordinates of nodes imported from the model of finite element method optimized object. The algorithm is able to recognize geometry patterns during material addition and subtraction. Based on the results of the recognition process, individual 3D features are placed in CAD design tree (like „Feature Manager” design tree in Solidworks, used in the procedure described in the article below). Thus, the described algorithm allows for convenient and quick editing of transferred geometry of the optimized object directly in the CAD environment. The algorithm was tested on various examples of 2D and 3D models. The execution code of the presented method was written in Python programming language, and the macro for the CAD program was written in VB.NET. The proposed solution is independent of the optimizer used.

In order to increase the efficiency of implementing the emergency response measures, the emergency response plan drawing up, revision and implementation at oil production enterprises, it is expedient to use an analogue of the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, which generates an interactive mode that allows interaction with the person in charge for localizing and eliminating the consequences of accidents that negatively affect, inter alia, the environmental situation. The SCADA system was developed on the basis of the approved document "Emergency Response Plan" and provides for data exchange with the automated systems of the enterprise to form a complete description of the situation for the person in charge for localizing and eliminating the consequences of accidents. The automated system application software was developed using high-level programming languages (Embarcadero Delphi or analogues) and technologies for direct access to the Oracle database management system. The use of an automated system is feasible for large enterprises of the extractive and processing industries with the possibility of integration into the automated Manufacturing Execution System (MES-systems) of an enterprise.

In the present study the transport work on collecting routes in "Bulgarian Posts" EAD has been analysed. Routes have been defined, in which a reduction of the transport costs is possible if pre-collected information about the availability of letters in the mailboxes is available. For this purpose, an automated system was created, which can recognise the availability of letters and send notifications. The method and the recognition criterion are described and the critical value of the colour temperature criterion was experimentally obtained. The system was tested with typical envelopes and the results showed that recognition had a 100% success rate.

The motivation of investigation is explained by the problem of keeping organisations’ information and private ones secure. One reason for this is insufficiency of information protection systems, and another – vulnerability in such kind of systems. The article is devoted to defining and analyzing the types and sources of information security threats for an automated system. It can be useful for developing the model method, having the purpose of detecting and further preventing of hazards. The safeness of Data Leak Prevention (DLP) system itself is also under investigation. The analysis was carried out by an expert method with system analysis. A DLP system was considered, on the one hand, as a way of information protection to prevent information leakage, and on the other hand, as an object of protection which is vulnerable to threats of information security. The presented threat model includes the sources of threats, divided into three large groups: anthropogenic, technogenic and spontaneous; and types of threats: intentional and unintentional.

Artykuł dotyczy aspektów projektowania instalacji elektrycznej w nowoczesnym magazynie. W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z przechowywaniem materiałów łatwopalnych. Opisano także specyfikę projektowania instalacji w środowisku wybuchowym projektu. Została omówiona zasada działania systemu automatyki oraz jego możliwości i ograniczenia. Ponadto scharakteryzowano model instalacji elektrycznej w przepompowni ppoż. dla magazynu paliw i smarów. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na cechy tego systemu predestynujące go do zapewnienia efektywności energetycznej budynku.

This article applies to the design aspects of electrical system in a modern warehouse. The paper presents issues related to the storage of flammable materials. It also describes the specificity of installation design in explosive environments. The principle of operation as well as the possibilities and limitations of the system are discussed. Paper also characterizes the model of electrical installation in the fire pumping station of the fuels and lubricants warehouse. Particular attention is paid to the features predestining the system to ensure the energy efficiency of the fuel storage.

W artykule przedstawiono model fizyczny i matematyczny systemu automatycznego sterowania żaglami na jachcie żaglowym. Układ pozwala na automatyczną regulację stopnia wybrania żagli w zależności od czynników zewnętrznych – kierunku wiatru i jego prędkości oraz kąta przechylenia jachtu.

W artykule opisano model matematyczny służący do określenia niezbędnej liczby jednostek operacyjnych służby pożarniczej potrzebnych do skutecznej ochrony przeciwpożarowej obszarów zamieszkanych. Przedstawione zostały wyniki zautomatyzowanego Systemu Informacji Geograficznej do planowania działań i określania wyposażenia jednostek operacyjnych służby pożarniczej chroniących obszary zamieszkane. W artykule autorzy prezentują strukturę systemu i jego funkcjonalne możliwości.

Hartowanie laserowe umożliwia selektywną obróbkę elementów lub ich części (np. robocze powierzchnie zęba, rowki wpustowe, ściany bieżni łożyska itp.), które dotąd nie mogły być hartowane innymi metodami, co stwarza nowe możliwości konstrukcyjne. Proces hartowania laserowego jest w pełni zautomatyzowany - głowica lasera zamocowana jest w uchwycie robota przemysłowego, a specjalistyczne oprogramowanie, współpracujące z systemami CAD/CAM, umożliwia wytyczanie drogi wiązki laserowej. Dzięki skróceniu czasu nagrzewania elementu, ograniczony zostaje negatywny wpływ ciepła na obrabiany przedmiot (krzywienie i deformacje powierzchni). Proces eliminuje również zjawisko nadtopień obrabianej powierzchni materiału, co osiągane jest dzięki utrzymywaniu stałej wartości temperatury nagrzewania.

Laser hardening enables to treat selectively the elements or their parts which could not be hardened by another methods up to now. It creates new possibilities in the area of structural design. Laser hardening process is fully automated - laser head is mounted in the industrial robot grip while specialistic software, cooperating with CAD/CAM systems makes it possible to lay out the laser beam path. Owing to shortening the time of the element heating, the negative thermal influence ( surface deformations) is reduced. The process eliminates also the phenomenon of partial melting of material surface what is achieved in consequence of maintaining of constant value of the heating temperature.

This article describes results of the work on knowledge representation techniques chosen for use in the European project SIARAS, Skill-Based lnspection and Assembly for Reconfigurable Automation Systems. Its goal was to create intelligent support system for reconfiguration and adaptation of robot-based manufacturing cells. Declarative knowledge is represented first of all in an ontology expressed in OWL, for a generic reasoning in Description Logic, and in a number of special-purpose reasoning modules, specific for the application domain.

An approach to automate the process of event transcription is suggested. Special attention is given to the system's ergonomics and usability as well as digital speech signal pre-processing. A prototype of the system is being considered and the transcription effectiveness comparison is given for transcription with traditional means and using the system under consideration.
