Ocena wpływu na bezpieczeństwo ruchu drogowego (BRD) projektów infrastruktury drogowej jest ważnym elementem poprawy stanu bezpieczeństwa na drogach. W Dyrektywie Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady 2008/96/WE określono wytyczne, które nakazują przeprowadzanie oceny wpływu projektów infrastruktury na drogach wchodzących w skład trans-europejskiej sieci drogowej TEN-T. Wdrożenie Dyrektywy w przepisach krajowych związane jest z opracowanymi instrukcjami dla audytorów BRD. Tworzone w ramach projektu Eyevid narzędzia do wspomagania audytu i oceny wpływu na bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego (BRD) projektów infrastruktury drogowej, są przykładowymi działaniami na rzecz poprawy stanu bezpieczeństwa na drogach. W zakresie oceny wpływu na BRD opracowano moduł programu wspomagający audytora, oparty o metodykę zawartą w Załączniku nr 1 do Zarządzenia Generalnego Dyrektora Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad (GDDKiA). W artykule przedstawiono wyniki obliczeń miar strat społecznych służących do oceny wpływu projektów infrastruktury drogowej na BRD. Obliczenia przeprowadzono przy użyciu modułu programu opartego o metodykę GDDKiA, dla odcinków drogi krajowej nr 94 oraz autostrady A4 w województwie małopolskim. Wyniki obliczonych miar porównano z wartościami rzeczywistymi, zawartymi w statystykach wypadków drogowych.

Assessment of the impact on road safety (RS) of highway infrastructure projects is an important element in the improvement of travelers’ accident protection. The Directive 2008/96/EC of the European Parliament and Council defines the rules, which require conducting an assessment of impacts on RS for road infrastructure projects included in the Trans-European Transportation network TEN-T. Implementation of the Directive by National law is related to the developed instructions for auditors of road safety. Created within the project Eyevid the tools supporting audits and assessments on the impact on road safety (RS) of highway infrastructure projects, are example actions for improving the travelers’ safety on the roads. For assessment measures related to impact on road safety the program module to assist an auditor was developed on the base of the methodology described in the Appendix 1 to the Directive of General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA). The article presents the results of calculations of social losses values used for the assessment of the impact of road infrastructure projects on road safety. Calculations were performed using the program module based on the GDDKiA methodology for the sections of the national road No. 94 and the A4 highway in the Malopolska province. The results of calculations were compared with the actual values contained in the statistics of road accidents.
