This article discusses role of field artillery on battlefield and the current state of field artillery. The purpose of this article is to outline development directions of artillery capability. Army surface-to-surface indirect fires will have a crucial part on the future battlefield. Essential trends in field artillery include: increase in range of fires systems; develop and disseminate of multi-sensor active-seeker munitions; advancement automated command and control; develop and implementation systems order to protect ground forces and forward operating bases from the threat of rockets, artillery, and mortars (C-RAM).

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości stosowania serwisów sieciowych (Web Services) do wyposażania wojskowych systemów informatycznych w funkcję obsługi standardu ADatP-3. Opisano przykładową implementację dla systemu kierowania ogniem artylerii polowej.

Some possibilities for web services application to equip military information systems into a function for servicing AdatP-3 standard are presented and its exemplary implementation in the artillery fire control system is described.

W atykule przedstawiono propozycję uzyskania interoperacyjności narodowych Systemów Kierowania Ogniem artylerii polowej z systemami dowodzenia NATO poprzez wymianę komunikatów ADatP-3. Opisano stanowisko laboratoryjne do badania interoperacyjności. Zaprezentowano, wykonany w technologii XML, procesor komunikatów z edycją, translacją i komunikacją wykorzystującą przeglądarki internetowe komputerów, palmtopów i telefonów komórkowych.

A proposal for achieving of interoperability between national Artillery Fire Control Systems and NATO Command Systems through ADatP-3 communicates exchange is presented. A laboratory set-up for testing of interoperability is described. The communicate processor performed in the XML technology with edition, translation and communication using internet computer searchers, palmtops and mobile phones is presented.
