Omówiono wyniki badań połączeń zgrzewanych tkaniny szklanej pokrytej PTFE, wykonanych z wykorzystaniem jednoosiowej maszyny wytrzymałościowej w kierunkach wątku i osnowy, z uwzględnieniem różnych szerokości spoin. Przedstawiono otrzymane wyniki. Określono optymalną długość spoiny badanej tkaniny technicznej.

The results of testing welded joints of PTFE coated glass fabric. The tests were performed in a uniaxial tension load machine in the weft and warp direction for different widths of seams. The results are shown in graphs and the effects of the destruction by photos. The optimum length of connections for the investigated type of technical fabric has been established.

The aim of this work is to examine two variants of non-linear strain-stress relations accepted for a description of the architectural fabric. A discussion on the fundamental equations of the dense net model used in the description of the coated woven fabric behaviour is presented. An analysis of tensile fabric structures subjected to dead load and initial pretension is described.
