The two-layer arc model in operating stability testing of plasma devices

On the basis of theory and model of two-layer arc a dynamic model of the direct current non-steady arc has been developed. By means of the local linearization methods the transfer function of a long arc has been obtained. The arc time constant has been tied with the thermophysical characteristics of plasma gases. Basing on the theory of impulse systems, the stability of the controlled power supply system of an electrical arc has been tested. The influence of the arc time constant on the setting of the current controller parameters and on the value of inductivity of the smoothing coil has been established.

Na podstawie teorii i modelu łuku dwuwarstwowego opracowano model dynamiczny łuku niestacjonarnego prądu stałego. Stosując metody linearyzacji lokalnej uzyskano transmitancję długiego łuku. Uzależniono stałą czasową łuku od charakterystyk cieplnofizycznych gazów plazmotwórczych. Na podstawie teorii układów impulsowych zbadano stabilność sterowanego układu zasilania łuku elektrycznego. Określono wpływ stałej czasowej łuku na dobór parametrów regulatora prądu i wartość indukcyjności dławika wygładzającego.
