The article presents the preliminary results of tests carried out on the modeled PD sources in order to determine whether it is possible to increase the functionality of the acoustic emission methods (AE) to obtain for its help information about the value of apparent charge or other parameter measured by electric method.

W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki pomiaru wyładowań niezupełnych dla rzeczywistych przekładników prądowych posiadających te same parametry znamionowe, ale różne częstotliwości pracy. Krótko scharakteryzowano procedurę pomiarową oraz otrzymane w wyniku pomiarów obrazy fazowo-rozdzielcze, które odniesiono do wyników uzyskanych w trakcie oceny właściwości metrologicznych przekładników.

The results of the partial discharge measurements performed for real current transformers having the same ratings but the different operating frequencies are presented in this paper. The measurement procedure and received phase-resolved pictures related to the results obtained during previous author works are briefly characterized.

Pomiary wyładowań niezupełnych (wnz) są jedną z metod badania stanu układów izolacyjnych wysokiego napięcia. W referacie przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z procedurą skalowania toru pomiarowego wnz wraz z opisem aktualnych wymagań stawianych układom generatorów impulsów wzorcowych. W oparciu o normę międzynarodową IEC-60270 ed. 3 (2000-12) opisano metodę sprawdzania poprawności działania takich generatorów oraz zaprezentowano jej praktyczną realizację. Poruszono również problematykę pomiarów w zakresie bardzo wysokich częstotliwości, nieopisaną przez w/w normę. Artykuł jest ilustrowany wynikami badań wykonanych w Laboratorium Wysokich Napięć Katedry Elektrotechniki i Elektroenergetyki AGH przy zastosowaniu wirtualnego przyrządu pomiarowego, w którym zastosowano szerokopasmowy oscyloskop cyfrowy z dedykowanym oprogramowaniem.

Paper presents subject of partial discharge measurements calibration accordingly to requirements of international standard IEC60270-2000 [2]. Problems with apparent charge evaluation for measurements in UHF/VHF range are pointed out. Measuring digital system for testing of PD calibrators meeting IEC standard requirements is shortly presented and results of laboratory tests of three different calibrators and whole PD measurement system are also described.

W artykule scharakteryzowano pojęcie deskryptora emisji akustycznej Arms oraz ładunku pozornego wyładowań niezupełnych. Przedstawiono układ do generacji wybranych form wyładowań niezupełnych oraz pomiaru ładunku pozornego i emisji akustycznej. Pokazano przykładowe wyniki pomiarów. Oceniono przydatność mierzonego deskryptora do opisu zjawiska wyładowań niezupełnych.

This paper presents experimental results which were obtained during measuring of partial discharges on real models of cavity in solid dielectric. The idea for this study was to acquire characteristic patterns of partial discharges which belong to basic configurations of artificially created cavities in solid dielectric between plane electrodes. Digital patterns of partial discharges acquired by measurements on mentioned models and electrical equipments had become the basis for so-called partial discharge dictionary. Some fundamental information about principles of the electrical wideband measuring method of partial discharges is also briefly presented in the paper. The results of diagnostics measurements of partial discharges made on voltage instrument transformers with solid insulation are placed in the second part of the paper. The measurements performed on relatively extent number of specimens provided detailed survey of the transformers insulating system quality

The paper contains the analysis of PD investigations results (within the bars assigned for generators coils) obtained parallel on the ground of the electric method and acoustic emission method as well as unified eclectro-acoustic method. The analysis of results obtained by means of electric method characterizes kind and parameters of PDs. The analysis of results obtained by means of acoustic emission method contains acoustic description of AE signal and detailed analysis of amplitude distributions shapes which gives deformation processes description and PD sources location. Detailed analysis of amplitude distributions shapes has been carried out by means of two methods resultant from definition of AE descriptors and application of Kohonen neural network. The unified eclectro-acoustic method consists in parallel utilisation both methods to mutual verify obtained results.
