The design parameters of the wagon and its running gear influence on anti-derailment stability. The influence of working order of slab wagons on anti-derailment stability. The mathematical model of six axles special wagon for transport of hot slabs has been worked out. The mathematical model is used for evaluation of the vertical wheel forces on the wrapped track. Some operational factors are analysed. Also some design factors are taken into consideration. The influence of these factors on derailment stability is evaluated. Some proposals for improvement of derailment stability are stated.

The mathematical model of six axles diesel locomotive has been worked out which enable to predict quasi-static loading of the wheels on buckling of the track. The model also includes influence of the axle loading adjusting device. The aim of the model is to provide information about vertical wheel forces deviations for studies of anti-derailment stability of the locomotive.

Opracowano matematyczny model sześcioosiowej lokomotywy dieslowskiej w celu predykcji (prognozowania) ąuasi-statycznych obciążeń kół na zakrętach toru kolejowego. Model uwzględnia wpływ urządzenia adiustującego obciążenia osi. Celem modelu jest dostarczenie informacji o siłach normalnych działających na koła, umożliwiających badanie antywykolejeniowej stabilności lokomotywy.
