Among the key factors determining the quality of prestressed components are the strings and anchor blocks. The standard EN-PN-S-10040 that has been in force since January 2000 requires that fatigue tests be performed, apart from static strength test. For that purpose, the Laboratory of Machine and Structure Research and Analysis at the AGH has designed and built a unit for static and dynamic examination of presses, anchor blocks, anchorages and tensioning systems that carry loads of up to 6000 kN. The article presents the design of a part of the unit, consisting of a hydraulic plunger vibration generator and annular actuator. The article presents some test results.
