This paper presents different aspects of applying decision support systems (DSS) in processes of the analysis and evaluation of an organisation performance. The analysis and evaluation of an organisation performance is based on the financial analysis and evaluation as well as SWOT evaluation. The evaluation model of an organisation performance, which consists of both models; the financial analysis and evaluation together with the SWOT ones, is shown. The improvement of an organisation performance evaluation requires the implementation of information systems, and DSS in particular. Such a system and its implementation in a given knowledge base together with the example of its application in the evaluation processes is presented. The paper indicates that DSS constitutes a useful tool supporting the organisation evaluation.
