The quality of the roadway has a significant impact on the ability of drivers to drive their vehicles. Violation of the integrity of the coating, its geometrical parameters (shape), and the condition of the surface of the coating adversely affect the behavior of drivers, does not allow for correct driving of the vehicle, and leads to the occurrence of traffic accidents of varying severity. The current problem in the implementation of road construction works is to increase the level of automation of construction equipment and increase the accuracy of profiling. The article considers the main types of leveling systems, the scope of their application, advantages, and disadvantages. Based on the conducted analysis, the recommendations are formulated for the developed automated leveling system, its structure, and principles of functioning. The main components of the leveling system, their functions, and the connections between them are considered. The scientific novelty of this article is to develop an original algorithm for the functioning of an automated leveling system. It includes the main stages of the profiling process: installation by a laser plane, determination of its position, adjustment of the position of the working element of construction equipment, and differs due to the necessary mathematical support for the implementation of the laser plane control process. The algorithm allows one to develop software that implements the basic operations of managing the profiling process.

Złożone systemy najlepiej analizować dokonując wydzielenia mniejszych podsystemów, podsieci łączących się z sąsiednimi podsieciami powiązaniami wejścia i wyjścia. Każdą podsieć możemy analizować poprzez zastosowanie odpowiednich algorytmów i procedur wynikających z potrzeb globalnego zadania. W artykule proponuje się zastosowanie metod dekompozycji i koordynacji w analizie złożonych zadań. Na pierwszym poziomie występują podsieci lokalne, połączone pomiędzy sobą oraz z siecią nadrzędną interfejsami. Rozwiązania cząstkowe zależą nie tylko od wewnętrznych parametrów podsieci lecz również od wartości interfejsów. Otrzymane rezultaty musza być skoordynowane w taki sposób, aby otrzymać rozwiązanie globalnego zadania.

The best way to analyze the complex system is to divide primary system into smaller set of subsystems or subnetworks which are connected with others using input and output signals. These connection one could be known as interfaces. Every subnetwork (local structure) could be analyze implementing appropriate procedure or algorithm according global task needs. In the article the decomposition and coordination methods are implemented to analyze complex task. On the first layer local subnetworks or subtasks are connected one with others and upper level subnetwork by interfaces. Partial solutions depend not only of the internal subnetwork’s’ parameters but also of the interfaces value. Receiving results have to be coordinated in the way to achieve global task solution.

The growth of electricity demand in the Brazilian system is high. This is due to the growing economy featuring most of the developing countries. However, its installed capacity cannot keep the pace of such a demand growth. This has led to some problems like the saturation of the system transmission and generation components during peak periods, as well as problems such as reduced system security and the inability to maintain low energy prices during peak periods. This paper presents a new proposal for the demand response program and an analysis of how are its impacts on the spot price within the electricity market.

W artykule przedstawiono program umożliwiający analizę odpowiedzi systemu energetycznego na przykładzie sieci w Brazylii. Program umożliwia wykrywanie nasycenia systemu jak również zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa.

Wymogi prawa unijnego i krajowego w zakresie ochrony powietrza, odnawialnych źródeł energii oraz szeroko pojętej efektywności energetycznej stawiają przed polskim ciepłownictwem wyzwania, które wiążą się z koniecznymi inwestycjami obejmującymi zarówno wytwórców ciepła, jak i dystrybutorów oraz odbiorców ciepła. Na optymalne wykorzystanie potencjału ciepła systemowego wpływ ma wiele czynników – od rzetelnej analizy aktualnego rynku ciepła począwszy, przez ocenę istniejącej sieci ciepłowniczej i źródła ciepła, aż do racjonalnego planu jej rozwoju. W artykule skupiono uwagę na ocenie pracy istniejącej sieci i źródła ciepła oraz na wykorzystaniu narzędzi pozwalających na stworzenie modelu matematycznego umożliwiającego przeanalizowanie bieżącej pracy sieci i dowolnych scenariuszy rozwoju badanego obszaru.

Requirements of the Union and domestic law in the range of air protection, renewable energy sources and widely understood energy efficiency, present to the Polish heating industry challenges that are associated with necessary investments concerning all groups involved i.e heat producers, distributors and consumers. Many factors influence the optimum utilization of a heating system potential like the thorough analysis of the actual heat market, of the existing heating source and its network assessment as well as of a rational plan of its further development. Attention is paid to the evaluation of the work of the existing heating source and its network system as well as to the application of tools allowing creation of a mathematical model that enables the analysis of the current heating system operation and unlimited scenarios of the investigated area development.

Omówiono stosowane obecnie układy stężające budynków wysokich, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem budynków o konstrukcji betonowej. Na przykładzie budynku o wysokości 136 m przeanalizowano kształtowanie układu stężającego. Analizie poddano wpływ ukształtowania trzonu budynku, ścian i słupów współpracujących z trzonem na sztywność poprzeczną budynku. Analizy wykonano z wykorzystaniem programu ROBOT.

Lateral load-resisting systems applied nowadays in high-rise buildings have been described with the special emphasis to concrete structure buildings. Using 136 m high concrete structure building as an example analysis of shaping of lateral system was conducted. In the analysis the following was considered: core shape, wall localization, cooperation of column. Analysis was performed with the use of software Robot.

Niniejszy artykuł jest drugą częścią cyklu prac prezentujących metodykę modelowania systemów informatycznych firmy AION. Ma na celu prezentację, opracowanego przez firmę AION, spójnego podejścia do prowadzenia analizy systemów informatycznych. Omówiono w nim uporządkowany sposób opracowywanie specyfikacji wymagań wobec systemu oraz propozycji rozwiązania informatycznego realizującego te wymagania. Prezentowane podejście umożliwia opracowywanie, rozwój oraz walidację proponowanych rozwiązań informatycznych.

The article describes an approach to requirements specification and analysis being the second stage in the overall software modeling method developed by AION. The purpose of this work is the presentation of compact and systematic development process. The article describes the rules to be followed during the analysis phase of information system. The resulting model integrates the static, dynamic and functional properties of system with business requirements specification realized in this phase of development process. The presented approach enables develop/nent and evolution of software solution and allows to check the conformance of this against the actually users requirements.
