The article presents the idea of different single criterion and multi-criteria methods of analysis focusing on a method known as Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The modified version of the AHP method is presented. This modified method directly uses the performance parameters of the compared options creating “satisfaction function” used in the final analysis. The presented simple hypothetical example of road crossing traffic organisation shows the potential of the modified AHP method and HIPRE software. Additionally, the problem of many evaluating groups with different evaluation criteria is described.

W pracy przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania metod oceny ekoefektywności w zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Ekoefektywność jako miara integrująca aspekty ekonomiczne oraz środowiskowe może być stosowana do oceny na poziomie mikro do oceny przedsiębiorstw, jak również na poziomie makro do oceny gospodarki. Ekoefektywność może być również wykorzystana przy ocenie poszczególnych technologii, produktów i łańcuchów dostaw. Przy ocenie ekoefektywności istotne jest określenie kryteriów tej oceny. W przypadku oceny ekoefektywności łańcuchów dostaw najistotniejsze są kwestie ekonomiczne na każdym etapie tego łańcucha, jednakże ocena jakości produktu, czy półproduktów, jak również wszelkie kwestie środowiskowe, jak emisja gazów cieplarnianych, czy też zużycie nieodnawialnych zasobów stają się bardzo istotne przy ocenie łańcucha dostaw. Ekoefektywność jest metodą, która umożliwia zintegrowanie wszystkich tych aspektów, jednak jest to możliwe przy wykorzystaniu dodatkowych metod jak np. analiz multikryterialnych

This paper presents the applicability of methods for assessing eco-efficiency in supply chain management. Ecoefficiency as a measure of integrating economic and environmental aspects can be used to assess the microlevel to assess the business as well as at the macro level to assess the economy. Eco-efficiency can also be used in the assessment of technologies, products and supply chains. In assessing the eco-efficiency is important to define the criteria of the evaluation. For the assessment of eco-efficiency of supply chains are the most important economic issues at each stage of the chain, but the assessment of the quality of the product, or intermediate, as well as any environmental issues, such as greenhouse gas emissions, or the consumption of non-renewable resources are becoming very important in the assessment of the supply chain. Eco-efficiency is a method that allows to integrate all these aspects, but it is possible with the use of additional methods such as multicriteria analysis

Expert methods for design solutions assessment

Problem of optimal solution choice among possible variants is the most common issue in engineering practices. Character and type of building influences method of its assessment, as well as set of criterion to be used. In this paper authors present chosen aspects of design solutions quantification and practical attitude to this important issue. Paper presents methodology of design solutions assessment in respect of the designing of the housing investment projects - taking under consideration location of the buildings and level of security and safety in the single flat. Authors present results of the extended questionnaire dealing with set of the most important assessment criterion choice, necessary for proper formulation of the assessment tool. Some conclusions relevant to the works are presented, as well as proposal of future relevant research.

Problem wyboru najlepszego rozwiązania spośród możliwych wariantów często występuje w praktyce inżynierskiej. Do oceny poszczególnych typów obiektów budowlanych z reguły przyjmuje się innego typu kryteria oceny, co wynika przede wszystkim z przeznaczenia i charakteru obiektów. Autorzy referatu przedstawili wybrane zagadnienia kwantyfikacji problemów projektowych oraz praktyczne podejście do prezentowanej tematyki. W opracowaniu przedstawiono metodykę oceny rozwiązań deweloperskich w odniesieniu do lokalizacji i poziomu bezpieczeństwa projektowanych i istniejących obiektów mieszkalnych. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań ankietowych, przeprowadzonych w celu opracowywania eksperckiego systemu oceny rozwiązań projektowych. W podsumowaniu zaprezentowano wnioski wynikające z przeprowadzonych analiz oraz zaproponowano kierunki dalszych badań.

Decision situations are related to various aspects of operations in an organisation. Hence the content of information included in a decision maker's expectations goes beyond defining criteria and setting a decision problematic. Finding a suitable approach is a task for an analyst who assists a decision maker in the decision process. The following paper sunthesises premises used in analysing decision situations, which result in a choice of a multicriteria method to perform calculations. The concluded guidelines can be used as a vocabulary of analytical knowledge, which allows to select a multicriteria method suitable for a given context of a decision situation.
