The article presents some problems during the execution of temporary scene and tribune for the song festival. Legal issues related to such investment are discussed. Safety hazards have been identified both for the building objects and their users.

Przedstawiono konstrukcję membranową dachu amfiteatru wykonaną z tkaniny technicznej. Opisano procedurę wykonywania prób laboratoryjnych niezbędnych do określenia nieliniowo-sprężystych właściwości tkanin technicznych oraz długotrwałej wytrzymałości na rozciąganie. Parametry materiałowe do zaprojektowania przekrycia wyznaczano na podstawie badań jednoosiowego rozciągania. Omówiono proces projektowania przekrycia z wykorzystaniem metody elementów skończonych.

The paper describes the designing of the membrane of the Faktoria amphitheater in Pruszcz Gdański made from technical woven fabric. The authors pay attention to the method of laboratory tests necessary for the identification of non-linear elastic properties of the coated membrane fabrics and long-time tensile strength. The material parameters necessary in the design process are specified on the basis of the uniaxial tensile tests in the warp and weft directions. The calculation process of the Faktoria hanging roof in Pruszcz Gdański is discussed.

The analysis of the literature sources dealing with the problems of formation of conceptual solutions of the open-type theatrical and entertainment facilities construction was done in the article. The attempt at systematization the main types of "landscape" theaters in the context of certain schemes of these spectacular facilities for public art events from antiquity to the present days was done (based on the review of the literature).

The following paper uses the example of the open-air theatre roof in Koszalin to present the results of empirical research covering collection and interpretation of data concerning the geometrie structure of a suspended roof for the purpose of its diagnostics. The conducted study covers direct surveying by the polar coordinates method with the use of reflectorless total station, close range photogrammetry, laser scanning, and thermovision, mainly in the context of their effectivencss with regard to spccific expectations on the part of the constructors.
