Na podstawie warunków wodnych i zakumulowanych utworów w dolinie Łyny wyróżniono basen pojeziorowy, zastoiskowy i namułowy. Mokradła w basenie pojeziorowym reprezentowane są przez torfowiska i gytiowiska. Torfowiska wykształcone z udziałem soligenicznego i fluwiogenicznego typu hydrologicznego zasilania są niejednorodne i modyfikowane przez procesy aluwialne i deluwialne. Gytiowiska znajdują się w fazie akumulacji, a ich układ stratygraficzny jest odwrócony w porównaniu z sekwencjami gytii w zbiornikach zamkniętych. W basenie zastoiskowym, gdzie dominują iły i pyły ilaste, mokradła są związane z procesem aluwialnym, glejowym i darniowym. Torfowiska występują sporadycznie. W basenie namułowym mokradła rozwinęły się na namułach aluwialnych w szerszych odcinkach doliny i deluwialnych, w odcinkach węższych. Mają uziarnienie głównie piasków i pyłów.

Considering water conditions and accumulated soil formations in the valley of the Łyna river, the following basins were distinguished: post-lake, sedimentation and silted basins. Wetlands in the post – lake basin are represented by peatlands and gyttja lands. Peatlands developer under soligenous and fluviogenous types of hydrological feeding, are heterogenous in character and modified by alluvial and deluvial processes. Gyttja bogs are in the accumulation stage and their stratigraphy is reversed as compared to gyttja sequences in the closed lake basins. In the sedimentation basin, where clays and clay silts prevail, wetlands are connected with alluvial, gley and turf processes. Peat bogs occur rarely. In the silted basin, wetlands are developed on alluvial deposits in the wider parts of the river valley, and on deluvial deposits mostly in the narrow sections of the valley. The accumulated deposits show the granulometric composition of sands and silts.
